Pre v9 bugs and glitches

Hey do you remember any interesting bugs from your time?

I'll kick it off with this bug, I'm sure some of you old skoolers will remember

When you could buy a stool as a present and send it to yourself but in the present description you would put the "spyro egg code" which meant that when you opened the pressie you had a dino in your hand :)

This is how most of the dinos today (at least the UK dinos anway :P) came out, staff didn't take it the dinos back but patched the bug by setting the dino cost to -1 credits which meant that it was impossible to buy.

But heck, people still found ways to do it later because some people had minus credits on their account due to fraudulent credit purchases (you wouldnt get banned those days, rather minus credited) and carried on doing it.

Oh yeah lool specially in casinos where people would error dealers when they lost bets so it looked like they scammed :P

I dunno, I think when the caption bug came out pretty much EVERYONE was using it... erroring people was useful imo. xD Especially in maze rooms when someone afk'd! =P
I even knew a couple of Hobbas that used error-photos to improve their moderation! xD

Mods and staff started removing them from rooms etc and they got very rare and I remember only 1 or 2 people still had it in their hand, they used to annoy people and everyone knew that was the "error guy" LOL I forgot his name but everyone used to be like don't let him trade you!!

I don't think they were meant for trading lol but I would say they'd have to drop it in a room, I don't know if that would have worked though, it should have

there was a program you needed to use to trade the pic or it would crash you too.

im guessing both people needed to use it to trade? but i never tried to trade mine, just crash people

How would moderators / hobba's know if you actually had it or not? I mean if they were trying to ban you how could they :s

They would either get disconnected by you then login and back you. I saw it happen, Hobbas used to ban a lot of them thats why it got so rare, lol. The last few pics it was hard to prove because they were smart with it

Some of the hobbas used to hide their badges in response to call for help and the scripter used to trade anyone randomly. lol
