I used to love these back in the day. Would be nice to see them back.

yep cant escape them that easily!!!!!!!!!!!!!, i know i personally try to get one out every other week or so myself and others do them too obviously cause they count to our minimums :p

They look really good! :) I think they could do with some more promotion and stuff though to get people reading and interacting with them. Good stuff guys, they look really well written too! :D Perhaps a bit more advertising in various places and a bit of a drive to get them noticed would be good!

It's cos they're hidden in a subsection of the News on the homepage, not even hitting the main page! I used to update my a-maze-ing weekly thread on here but kinda forgot, whoooops. What do you suggest to promote them more? I was thinking maybe a stickied thread with room review suggestions (from users, to feed to reporters), but as for getting room reviews to the public I am s-t-u-m-p-e-d.

Ask for a advertisement banner for a week or two just to get people to know its still around

Yea definitely worth doing a banner for it, linking to the page would be useful too on it by just clicking on it. ;p

1. Have a thread in cool rooms forum where people can request room review of their rooms.
2. If they are seperate from Hx, let the owner know youve reviewed their room. Tell them if it's a good room review that maybe they'd want to advertise it using their wired ;)

Involve the cool room section a lot more,

Also have it so people could nominate rooms, and vote rooms they like, such as pick five good rooms from the cool rooms forum, a poll goes up, whoever gets most votes wins rep, or an award or something.

Linking to what Inseriousity said, maybe rooms could be classed as elite if they were given a certain score, and peoe would have to apply to the news department for a review if they want their room to be moved to that forum?

I don't think it's fair for a single member to be given the opportunity to pretty much move rooms to the elites forum but rather a collective positive review from members of the forum or through a poll like before.

So, I think some promo is definitely needed!

would like to see competitions made of these, maybe a weekly review of the sent in rooms where the best room wins a prize like vip, a forum award or furni. would lead to more people reading the article to see if they've won as well as keeping to a specific routine.

I had a discussion with Sam (and charlie when I was senior before) about doing a similar competition to Habbox Comps Room With A View.

Basically there's a theme every month (don't think week would have enough popularity) and people have to build rooms - someone writes a review of each one and the News Department picks their favourite for the month to win.

What do you guys think?
