Getting a Nintendo 3DS XL Tomorrow, Game suggestions?

I'm getting a blue 3DS XL tomorrow and I'm just wondering if anyone has any good 3DS game suggestions? I've had a look around and I'm liking the look of the 3D Mario game (I love mario woo) and maybe a pokemon game, although I havent seen any pokemon games that are for 3DS? Not sure haha.

Anyone got/getting the 3DS XL too? What are your thoughts on it? I'm loving the idea of a big screen haha, although never having a 3DS either It will all be completely new to me!

I'm into games like Mario and stuff, never really had a handheld console since my gameboy hundreds of years ago playing the first pokemon game LOL


Used to love spyro on PS1 and crash bandicoot and things like that :D

I'm hoping there are games like that for Nintendo 3DS XL? :D

Oooer I remember playing metal gear solid on Playstation 2 at some point I think! I think it involves like shooting and stuff? Could be a good one cheers!

How's the 3D on it? I have the standard 3ds and was wandering if I should upgrade. But I don't see any point if the only difference is a bigger screen. Do you know if the 3d looks better than the previous model?

I have a fascination with new items and looking at your picture made me want to buy one just for the fact of opening it. Brand new items are so good especially games :)

Last nintendo item I bought was the wii and i didn't play it much but last handheld I had was gameboy colour lol loved pokemon on that!

I really want Theatrhythm Final Fantasy for 3DS only, as it looks really good.
Also, if you like Pokémon, go for Pokémon Conquest; it's a mix of Pokémon and Nobunaga's Ambition (the Japanese side of Warriors Orochi and star of the Samurai Warriors series which are both made by Koei), a pretty perfect combination

i'm looking forward to trying out kingdom hearts 3ds, i'm a huge fan of the series and i have high hopes! also thinking of getting pokemon conquest, which i hope is basically final fantasy tactics but with pokemon.

if you're also looking for old ds games i'd personally recommend games like the world ends with you, phoenix wright, the mario and luigi games.

mario 3d land is pretty neat and i'm super excited for paper mario sticker star later this year!

Mario 3D Land is really fun, I re-bought New Super Mario Brothers after I played it, just for more Mario. I think New Super Mario Brothers 2 comes out on the 17th, it should be good too.
Also, I really like LOZ: Ocarina of Time 3D, just love that game, it's nice to have it in 3D/handheld.
