This has been the case for a while now. I asked Matt if anything will be done and he doesn't know.

It's not a bug, it's Habbox reached a problem with the company behind the system and then Jin had to get some lawyers involved. I ask Jin every so often if there is any further updates as I believe SMS donator is a great feature to many of our users. The last time I asked him was yesterday and was told there was no new updates on the situation.
