Tariq's on a wheelchair??
dbgtz

Why did you have to move it BBC... why?
I'm guessing he's in the wheelchair from injuries from that van and Denzil isn't there because he's dead I assume.

What?! Moved to where?!
This looks interesting - the girl on the far right is looking quite '******' so it seems like she's going to have a good storyline perhaps?

I'm sure you was told this in the old thread when the last series ended. The last episode showed them in a coach/minivan going up to Scotland as that is where the new school will be. The reason they did that in the actual storyline is because they have decided to move set which will now be located in Scotland. The previously one was in the North West in Rochdale.

The shows location got moved to Greenock in Scotland :P Also I reckon that girl on the right will become friends with Scout
Edit: Sorry I had the thread open before Matt posted :(

I think it looks good still. A new change in set is needed after some series as it would get boring having the same set over and over - it also brings in the chance for new story lines.

I actually think he's going to be alright :O
Near perfect uniform, kinda cardigan type thing? Unless he's going to have the storyline of being bullied at home and at school which drives him mad, he looks like he's going to be good?
I don't know though. I like judging characters from photos - it's fun!

I dont think it was always the plan. I think the reason they ended the last series with the crash was because they were uncertain as to which cast members would be able to make the move, and obviously it was a good way of explaining what happened to the ones which couldnt make it. But yeah it is a big shame, thats the end of the kellys now although there is a new character named Drew Kelly. Whether there is any relation I dont know.

Heres a question.
If its filmed and set in Scotland, why did she say "Shes in year 11"? In Scotland it goes Primary 1-7, 1st Year to 6th Year. Unless thats just in Edinburgh? No idea if Glasgow is different.

Is it possible it runs on the English system as it's an academy? I'm not sure.
Also what's with all the obese people this series. ***** got what was coming to her though.

SPOILER BELOW
After Kacey admitted her identity issues last week, she discovers that she hasn't got the support of her family. Mum Carol is struggling to cope with her daughter's revelation that she feels as though she is actually a boy, and brother Barry is proving to be just as difficult. The family try mediation with Sian, but it doesn't go smoothly...
Meanwhile, Barry breaks into Sian's house and steals a precious and intimate photograph of her and Michael. Causing trouble, he brings it into school and posts it around all of the corridors. Sian doesn't know who the perpetrator is, but suspects Barry to be the culprit. He then tries to humiliate her in front of the whole class, causing Sian to completely snap...
Michael is then put in a difficult position. He believes that Sian should be sacked for her actions, but his loyalty is getting in the way of following the correct procedures…
Then, Christine confronts Connor after finding Imogen's ring. She urges her son to break off their engagement. However, Connor defies his mum and tells her that they plan to go ahead with their engagement and he thinks they should be getting married sooner rather than later...
Scout's mum Tina arrives in Scotland wanting to give their relationship another go. But it ends up throwing her daughter's plans to go to university into doubt…
I hope tonight's episode is good. What's going to happen to Sian and is Scout going to fall for her mum's ****..once again?

I find it annoying that the only student who was from the old school left is Harley, I will probably miss Scout a lot as I'm used to seeing her but I can't wait for her to start in Coronation Street. I was the same with Ronan and Josh too, you grow to know the character more due to the story line on it.
Waterloo Road has some soap features, like sometimes the longer running storylines with Pheonix and Harley with their dad, Scout and her mum, things like that but it isn't a soap it's a series due to a different story beginning each time and hardly any running on. Some of the things are unrealistic but most of the time that might be why we watch it :P.
I wish Chawky was staying but the day Tom leaves I might not watch it anymore lmao.

Quite a bit of news here and some quite sad :(
Waterloo Road bosses have today (April 10) confirmed that original character Tom Clarkson is leaving the show.
Jason Done, who played the schoolteacher, has already filmed his final scenes after seven years in the role.
Tom will feature in the next block of ten episodes, which are due to air later in the spring, and show chiefs are promising a memorable exit for the fan favourite.
Waterloo Road's executive producer Cameron Roach told Digital Spy today: "We will be sorry to see Tom Clarkson leave Waterloo Road, but we promise a finale that can't be missed, in order that we send this much loved character off in style.
"We wish Jason all the best for the future and thank him wholeheartedly for the energy and commitment he has given the role. He has been a big part of the Waterloo Road story."
Done added: "A massive thank you to everyone who's been involved in the making of Waterloo Road. I'm very proud of what we have achieved and the laughter we have shared."
Meanwhile, Alec Newman and Daniela Denby-Ashe have also left their respective roles as headteacher Michael Byrne and businesswoman Lorraine Donnegan.
Brian Park, managing director of Waterloo Road's production company Shed Productions, told Digital Spy: "Jason, Alec and Daniela all feature significantly in the next series and their departures will have all Waterloo Roaders on the edge of their seats."

I really can't believe that, Tom was what made Waterloo Road for me seriously, he's been in since I began watching it and now he's leaving - wasn't he one of the only remaining people from before they moved, now there will only be Maggie surely and without Grantly I doubt she'll stay longer; there's also Nicky but I can't see a good story line for her if Lorraine isn't in it either. I don't see Christine running the school I just don't know how she could - the teachers left, there are only a couple left aren't there so there should be more coming hopefully. I don't think it'll be as good though as I think Michael also helped with following the storylines through and such.

Got to agree, if you actually had a realistic school show then you may as well go and film an actual school. It wouldn't be fun or have any sort of entertainment which is why it isn't realistic most of the times.

Will Tom die on the operating table, or do you think that it's too obvious of a story line?
Well he isn't in the next series, so quite possible.

Grantley goes in the next series too, so I reckon he will survive but with complications.

Here is whats happening in the last episode:
Newly released from prison, former pupil Kyle Stack turns up unexpectedly at Waterloo Road. Old schoolmate Rhiannon is keen to help him enrol but Tom isn't so welcoming, frogmarching Kyle to the exit.
Upon seeing this, new deputy Simon Lowsley persuades Christine that he has the necessary skills to get through to the boy. Initially doubtful, Tom is surprised to see a change in Kyle and begins to wonder if there's more to his return to school than meets the eye.
However, things quickly turn sour when Barry goads Kyle about prison life, which leads him to lash out before running away. As everyone grows worried about Kyle's increasingly erratic behaviour, the race is on to find the missing schoolboy.
Meanwhile, as Grantly's charity auction gets into full swing, Tom is astounded by his friend's refusal to accept his kidney donation. As far as he's concerned, Grantly is being a stubborn fool and it takes strong words from Maggie to make him see sense.
But as the charity fundraising fireworks explode in the skies above Waterloo Road, dark clouds loom over the school when a clearly disturbed Kyle is found up on the roof, alone. And as all eyes turn to Tom to reach out to the troubled teen, tragedy comes calling…
I reckon Tom's gonna die!

Knew it was going to happen but I was really praying for it not to. I don't know whether it was done purposely, but Toms first appearance was on the roof of Waterloo Road saving the head teacher from throwing throwing himself off the building. Rather fitting that his final appearance was falling from the roof himself.
Inseriousity.

Haha true, a lot of them do leave that way. When was the last time a teacher actually died? Pupils die on the show quite regularly but teachers dying is rare.
