Hi,
Well i got insurance on my Saxo last week, they finally came to fit it today. They said they would be here in the afternoon, they arrived about 2 hours ago, They came in a brand new Fiesta with insure the box written all over it. Some big coloured man came to the door, He explained the process, then asked "Got any biscuits" I replied with "What" he then said "got any biscuits i can have" i was then pretty suprised and just said i didn't have any and let him get on with the job in hand.
They finished the job and done the paperwork, which they didn't fill out, then i checked over the car which now has ripped carpet, parts hanging off etc, I've rang Insurethebox just waiting for them to get back to me but this is appauling

lmao only you ross.
i'm with co-op young drivers, and the boxes are fitted by cobra. i think it's cobra anyway, defo a third party company. anyway, they were fantastic both times they've been, and the guy actually noticed the clock wasn't working and replaced the fuse.

Sort your breaking out lol, seriously that's really unproffesional best of luck getting it sorted. I'm doing my lessons now so I'll ask here if you don't mind is it worth getting the boxes?

Thats what you get for not giving him a biccy!
In all seriousness, thats shocking service. I would be a bit surprised if he had have come to me asking for biscuits, and the fact he left your car in a mess is even worse. :P Hope you get a good response from the company.

i like to accelerate quickly (well, as much as a 1.1 can :P) - so i think that's whats bringing it down. i just got a £12 refund on my insurance for not driving dangerously (my acceleration and braking has been 1 since i got it, so that doesn't really affect it) - and you have a review every 3 months where you can either get a partial refund or have your premium go up.

So the price is uncertain because it can change every 3 months for the good or bad?

yeah, but tbf i don't drive like a granny, let's just say my speed score should be lower :P yet i still got a partial refund. one of my friends is also with co op young drivers and he drives like an idiot and his premiums stayed the same. god knows how you must have to drive to get your premium increased...

The insurance company has never been to my house... Why do they need to fit insurance?????

Why did you feel the need to mention that he was 'coloured'?

What cheek, to ask for biscuits
I'd have said no but then watched him work whilst eating a biscuit.
Couldn't deal with having a black box in my car.
Totally agree.

Totally agree.
doesn't really bother me as its a 1.1 anyway
Still, I wouldn't want one, regardless of it being a 1.1 or a 5.0 jag

But on a serious note, keep us updated on what happens because I'm interested to see what they actually do about it.
