Conspiracy.

I'm just curious. I bought a cheap second hand VHS player a few days ago to watch some old videos I had when I was a kid.
In my head VHS quality was terrible but it's not as bad as I remember it.

no. i've got a ton of videos in the study, but if i want to watch anything i'd just download the film. if i was to watch em, then it'd just be for the nostalgia-factor opposed to anything else.

I watch them occasionally, have a dvd/vhs combo thing that plays both. Quite nice to watch old films from when I was younger and stuff
we've got loads in the attic i think, haha. haven't watched any for ages, if i would wanna watch them now i'd just watch them online/buy them. :p

Nope my girlfriend of the time and I bought a VHS player back in 2005 because we realised that we both had loooads of old tapes, but even then we only watched a few because of how rapidly internet speeds increased and just a basic lack of necessity for it. No idea if she still has it, I doubt it though :P

Not really but I still have a load. The only ones I've really watched in the last few years are just ones of recordings from events like parties or weddings etc. There's one from my birthday party when I was like 5 of me picking my nose :(

Nope, I think we pretty much got rid of any videos left in the household. Since we don't have a video player any more and we had some of those on DVD anyway which is so much better quality.

Naah i upgraded to a DVD player years ago :)
My dad has one. I used to watch old films like Breakfast At Tiffany's and Hello Dolly. It's in my storage room but not sure if it's still working, probably not.

Occasionally. I've been a classic doctor who fan for years partly due to my dad (way before the new series) and I started collecting them on VHS, before DVD was out. I decided to keep collecting them as my collection was already large and because they are more rare than the DVDs (even though I don't plan to sell them). I often buy them once or twice a year, adding to my collection e.g. birthday, christmas. The rest it's all DVDs and 1 bluray at the moment.

I miss the old VHS's, I don't own any of them nomore due to moving house and had to get rid of them. It's ridiculous though how cheap you can get them now.
I watch VHS sometimes, I like to see older movies :)

Yes :) Me and my girlfriend recently went through four massive cardboard boxes of videos that had been locked away for years... Tons of things in there, from old films recorded from TV, videos of birthdays etc and old TV programs.
As an F1 Fan, I was glad to find some old F1 recordings and watched them :) Although a highlight is watching old TV Adverts :)
nope. i think we threw ours away a few years ago now. it wasn't really being used and we updated to dvds and xboxs :P

yeah, i'm pretty sure my mum still has ours in the sitting room. mainly for when someone brings back up an old memory and she pops on the videos. there are so many of our childhood and it's quite nice to watch, especially with the amazing style back then!

Still two boxes to go through!
And on the subject, Yes for VHS. I still have my video player and videos, simply because I haven't got around to replacing them all on DVD yet :P I quiet like being able to fast-forward the commercials, some DVDs don't let you do that :P

The only VHS tapes I have are ones that I am young on, and old kids VHS tapes that I haven't bothered to chuck out or sell. I converted most of them to a hard drive any way.
had old vhs tapes converted to dvds since we don't have a vhs player. only like old family videos and stuff though not like actual films. i still have some old films on vhs but can't watch them cos no player and tbh got most either on dvd or online anyway so probably wouldn't if i could

I've got VHS movies but not a VHS anymore
As much as I loved rewinding the tapes back to the beginning after I watched them. You got to get up to date with the kids
