Im not being a douche guys but I think that Sulake should bring Hobbas back or some in that kind of way. C'mon, 3k users... Habbo got rid of hobba's due to the growing popularity but nowadays it' can't even hit the 6k mark LOL.

What do you guys think? it'll save loads of money and I reckon we'll do a better jobs than these MOD's who wave all the time LOL.

no way, habbo is a much much bigger community now. back in 2002/2003 when hobbas were in force habbo hotel was at least 10x smaller in terms of users so could be managed by a small group of amaturs

in addition habbo has just seen the back of the channel 4 scandal and would be probably be closed down in unpayed teenagers started to monitor the hotel

hobbas as well as professional moderators yes, but not solely hobbas

2004 - 2007 were habbo's busiest periods, in 05' GlitterKat sent a Hotel Alert saying 'Gongratulations, this is the most ever users on Habbo ever'

hobbas ended in 2005

the point is habbo is growing so there is no way hobbas can replace moderators because that's the reason the hobba scheme ended in the first place; growing population

besides that why would sulake revert back to a moderation method they used in their company almost 10 years ago? what sort of message would that give it prospective users & sponsors?

Lol getting two random screenshots of the homepage doesn't prove the statement that 13,000 Habbo's wasn't online at once. These screenshots could have been at anytime of the day. I do remember when I saw the announcement in 05, it was something like 'Congratulations, we have the most users online at the same time' It was somewhere between 12 to 13k people online and I remember Callie saying we've beaten Spain.

Have you got a screen shot or any proof that there was 13,000 on at once? Just back up your point of course :)

OT: Yes they do need some form of habbas, which is why they will be introducing the guardian system on .com shorty.

A system where noobs send requests and another noob picks up, and its all random, Habbo chooses when you should deal with a request, its not up to you, and you dont get paid neither

irrelevant; habbo.com.br didn't even have a hobba system & apart from that it's a different hotel to .co.uk

Why are people so eager to try and fight the past that they missed. You're all so annoying.

BACK TO THE TOPIC!

WHO THINKS HABBO SHOULD BRING BACK HOBBA'S OR SOMETHING LIKE THEM?

FOR EXAMPLE: A HABBO EXPERT WITH 'KICK' & 'MUTE' & 'ALERT' COMMANDS?

THATS REASONABLE

I think they should bring back the old system they had. I laugh that it's a 'security risk'...if it was, it wouldn't have worked before. They didn't get rid of hobbas because of security reasons, they got rid of them because they wanted an easier way to moderate the hotel that is both efficient and less work. Keeping up with dozens of hobbas on day to day basis and logging their actions, looking at appeals of "wrongful bans", etc was, I assume, taxing. It would make more sense if they moved from a hobba system to a in-office, MOD run hotel, where their actions are not questioned as much.

For the record: Any account that logged in to a hobba account with a different IP address was redflaged and was "Safety banned" by staff. I know, because it happened to me. What happens next is you would have to provide a reason as to why your account logged in from that location. Once you did, the ban was lifted. Didn't know hobbas could be banned too eh?

The amount of hobbas that were compromised/hacked/whatever you want to call it is severely outweighed by the number that weren't. If it happened, it was fixed, fast!

With that said, by now their coding team could probably develop an even better system, making it virtually impossible to even log on from a different IP than your home computer. So, with that, it would NOT be a security threat.

As for age, I think hobbas should be at least 18 years old if they are brought back. Just my opinion as I feel that's a mature enough age to handle the responsibility.

I'm confused, how will bringing hobbas back INCREASE players? It really won't. Popularity has dropped simply because there's too many alternative social networking sites which have erupted in the last 5 years or so.
