There's about 6/7 moderators in total for .com lol. I cba to find a list and count haha. But yes, it must be extremely demanding which would explain why they seem to just not bother reading chatlogs and warn because it's much easier and less time-consuming.

Thats weird o.o because when Habbo used to have 8-13k online there was 1-2 mods online at a time

I have a feeling that a large amount of the automated calls are dealt with by the server itself (Issuing automatic mutes etc.), moderators are being further helped by the Helper System (which reduces the amount of calls regarding nonsense such as 'how do I change my room name'), and Guardians are going to be helping with bullying cases as of next week, so mods are down to dealing with PII cases, and sexual reports that are not automatically dealt with. Taken into account how many users actually send CFHs, though there may be alot; i don't think its unmanageable.

I swear there used to be always 2 moderators online at the same time to cope with the stress. But things seem to be different. You send in a call for help atm, and it TAKES forever to get a reply.

They just ignore you nowadays, and sending one call for help at a time is not really safe is it, thats a big safety flaw habbo need to fix.

I don't think there's been one moderator online ever since Moderator-2 was introduced. Since then I think there has always been at least two online.

I used to play back in 2005 and always knew how many were online, most of the times there was only one, every four hour shift, MOD-pants always had the night shift then passed to MOD-Noct for midnight shift etc, it was well documented about the 4 hour shift 1 mod online

I've heard about the 4 hour shift but i'm not sure that 1 mod online was a rule of thumb. I think there was regularly 2 moderators online, especially when the hotel started to get busy.

Yeah was going to mention that at peak times there would sometimes be 3-4 online at once. But the rest was just one mod, it was easy to check back in the day aswell because you had fansites that auto checked which mods are online etc

Inseriousity.

Teacher, fireman, police officer, doctor, nurse. these are hard work. moderating an online game on your backside while still difficult is a job I'd prefer to do over those 5 :P

Yeah obviously :P But what I was trying to say was its not actually effective method of moderation.

Doesn't matter how many mods are online, they always are bad at their jobs ;)
