What's your most important quality?

Not in a partner - but in yourself. What do you pride yourself on?


The most important thing to me is that I don't lie. I haven't told a single (proper) lie in over a year now, which I'm quite proud of. White lies or withholding information is a bit different though, lying to protect someone's feelings etc.

I've never liked telling lies but I hurt a few people pretty badly last year with a few lies I told (with malicious intentions - I'm not proud) and I swore to myself I'd never lie again. I don't doubt that there may come a time when I need to lie, but I'm going to try my hardest to be honest for as long as possible really.

So! What's the most important quality to you?

Punctual. Punctuality is courtesy. I'm a very punctual person myself, if i promise to meet someone, i will always be there on time. if i know i'll be late i'll just give them a call and tell them im gonna come late. i just hate wasting people's time, i think that respecting someone's time is very important.

Urgh I genuinely don't know haha. I don't like to lie as you said, as Eric said I care a lot about punctuality.. I'm not sure.

I suppose generosity if that counts? Also, on a side note, the fact that I'm constantly saying 'Sorry' lord knows how many times a day for minor things haha.

Similar thing to you. Being honest and telling people what you think (as tactfully as possible or not depending on my mood haha). Short-term they might not like what they hear but I just don't like being two-faced and long-term I think they respect you for telling them. Sometimes it's actually what they needed to hear :)

Oh I'm terrible at telling people the harsh truth, I always feel really guilty. I'm actually trying to do it a lot more now as someone has recently made me realise I can speak my mind and not annoy people.

Being able to be brutally honest. It frustrates the hell out of people and probably makes a lot of people dislike me for a while, but it pays off in the end. Without that, I would be an entirely different person.

No I do think it counts as a quality because it shows you're not just taking a slouch-like attitude (lol didn't know how to explain it) to everything. I'd also agree with this, I don't like the thought of being late so... I won't unless I can't help it. :) I think it's a way of showing respect and I don't think it's fair for someone to be waiting even a couple of seconds after the time arranged. If ya say you're going to be there at a certain time, be there at that certain time.

I'm loyal - I won't backstab you and any problems then i'll state them.

Often though, people see that as disloyalty when its nothing like it. If i'm against something or somethings a person is doing, that doesn't mean i'm against the person themselves.

i'm really not sure. i guess it's being quite open minded as i don't tend to judge people before i've met them. i can't really think of the particular word but yeah, i'd probably say that. whether it counts as a quality or not, i'm not bothered.

I'm the same as this. I'm also a very punctual person and really organised which comes in handy but that's not a quality.
I'm loyal and I think I'm a good listener, it's nice to know that my friends can come to me with their problems anyway.

I guess I'm positive? I did this thing where you have a bracelet on your wrist and you must wear it for 28 days. Every time you say something negative, you have to take of the bracelet and put it on your other wrist and start the 28 day count again 'cause according to science it takes 28 days to break a habit and negativity is a habit. It actually works :P

That's actually really interesting, I might try that. I'm somewhat negative, especially about myself :P

A quality that is important to me is sticking to my morals. I won't sell out on my principals, do things I think are wrong and I tend to let people know when I think their behaviour is immoral or unacceptable.
