Urm. Wasn't the new filter meant to be much stricter? I'd have thought they'd have the effort to at least filter "seex" as well as "sex" ?. The only thing they seem to have toughened up on is Skype/MSN and stupidly, profanity.

But you can bypass profanity easily as well. *Insert female dog here* and add a y and it works? :L. I DON'T GET THIS, I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE STRICT NOT EASY TO BYPASS.

Hmm but you could be asking someone 'Whats your sex?' so that is why they probably allow it, but if that word is used with say another word then they will ban.

Because it's all American English in Sulake's preferences, I think they'd prefer people to stick to Gender haha. I don't think they even compare 2 words together really, my friend said "caam" to test it out and got a ban by saying only that :P

It's weird the way you can say one word, that is filtered, but add a letter onto it and it doesnt turn it into ****e it displays the whole word unfiltered. The word in question was "Dude, your cooking tastes like ****e"

They have a more sophisticated filtering system that means they don't need to have such a strict word filter - it analyses through context: as in, it can tell the difference between "Are you a virgin?" and "Do you fly with Virgin airline?" - the former would get you a warning/mute, the latter wouldn't even flag up on their systems. It can also tell the difference between "*Username* is such a *****" and "I had a real ***** of a day today", etc.

It just seems a bit hypocritical how they promised to toughen up on it, yet adding one letter bypasses it. The safe chat was just ridiculous haha and too strict because it didn't account loads of words in the white list.
MatthewRMG; Mk. Hopefully things should get better now :L

That doesn't seem to be the reason to allow the word sex :P Why would you ask someone their sex when female Habbos have boobies and males one don't? That's the whole point of choosing the gender :P

It seems Habbos filter is still in need of some work, though by the looks of things they just looked at the previous filter and thought it was good. It doesn't seem like any tweaking has been done :/
