Why are Habbo's these days keep reporting people?

Got permenantly banned the other day for joking around saying I was Hotel staff and then I got reported by some idiot. Now I just got banned becase I said my name is Tom. These people around the hotel are so annoying, they report you for anything.

Do they think the Hotel Staff are going to notice them? Do they think there gonna become a Guardian or something, or are they just doing it to annoy us. It's ridiculous that people report you for anything these days.

If it is, then basically a bunch of users keep reporting people for either no reason or a very pathetic reason that deserves no ban just a simple warning (yet people usually get banned straight away) in order to feel 'important' by the CEO because they kept to keep some special badge lol. The badge doesn't give them powers or help them towards becoming a guardian, it's just an ego boost really? Some people do it genuinely but a heck of a lot are just abusing the system.

If not, then people still find it funny to report others for next to no reason lol. And because it's all on chatlogs, Moderators can't tell jokes apart from being serious.

People report a lot now days because it gets dealt with, they feel ''pride'' in getting people banned.

The patrol was, at first, rewarding people for the amount of reports they sent in. This really encouraged people to send fake, contrived reports, taking words completely out of context. Now people are banning (well reporting to get them banned) for the hell of it, like warren said for pride. It's so pathetic, you can't even enjoy it any more - unless you're super careful or in a room with people you trust.

Hopefully this whole reporting hype that these idiots are on slowly begins to fade. Because it's getting really annoying, and i'm sure it's annoying for most of you when you're speaking to someone about something, and some little snake pounches on the ' Call for help ' makes up some fake story about how they feel threatened, bullied, and then we become banned while they walk off thinking they have done a proud job.

The just sitting there is so true. I got muted for sitting there doing nothing and it was like, huh. Wtf I haven't even spoken that much. To be honest, these mods never check the damn logs. So little worms could get anyone they hated muted or banned just for the sake of it which is so darn wrong. Okay, rant over.

The habbo patrol should never have been created. Paul created a monster when he created that. I've been around the hotel and theres these kids who keep saying to people, Thats against the habbo way, I am reporting you. It's like well, your not a mod y'know just cause your part of the habbo patrol.

LMS is the easiest to win now - you can report the players rooms, motto, furni layout out (if offensive), name etc.

Lol its so pathetic. I got banned last night for being false reported and misspelling kyle as kype :( I do think false reporting has always happened though. In the past though the mods were lazy so if you were false reported, you were unlikely to be banned. Now they are just banning left right and centre without context. :l Moderation/C.S just continues to get worse. It is appauling.
