Is This a Smart Idea?

I just did it, so anyway I just bought a bunch of Halloween-themed furni, Creaky Walls, Floors, pumpkins, etc. for very good and low prices, just for the purpose of saving them until Halloween and selling them crazy high because of the demand.

Anyway, just a question will this work or was it a dumb idea?

Hmm it seems like an alright idea I suppose :o. But remember that they release new furni around that time of year as well, so the demand for the newer furni will be much higher than the old but there should still be some interest in it.

Reminds me of the time I bought all my Xmas habbo furni in July 8-) (I'm so cool LOL).

Very good idea, if i get blooming uunbanned on lunaris ( <.< ) before halloOtween there some big cash for me coming in too cause of 200+ swamp fog 50+ swamp logs etc tons of that stuff.

the general rule anyway

Other side of the year = low price
Around the time = gets bit higher
Week or two before release = much higher prices
On release = reasonably high, often around the bulk deals in cat but lower then before release
After leaving = new items much higehr then they were in cat

They only re-release certain items, and that tends to be the ones from the year before (not saying they wouldnt do older, but it's not that likely) so he'd be able to make a profit on some older items if they weren't re-released. As for new ones, the value may or may not drop depending if people decide to buy from the catalogue as opposed to the fact that they'd be in 100s of trading rooms xD.

Depends how cheaply he bought it. If it's like 1c under the current value and it's re-released, he's not likely to make a decent profit and the price would prob drop by a c.

Well to add to warren, people get a hype about these items and try to get them before its released to make sure they are well prepared to make stuff, and a visible price increase is generally seen during this time,so you sorta have to just sell before its releasd and be careful that it doesnt release before you sold tbh ;p
