Hey

So, ive been recently looking at getting a new guitar, and I dont really know much about them I just play them .

Anyway, my friends all told me that Ashton was an alright make, and I didnt really want to spend loads, so i looked for ashton guitars etc. and came across this:

Anyway, I bought it because its meant to be decent, was wandering what you guys think?

Cheers :)

I've never heard of Ashton, it's probably just a low-end beginner make.

Your best bet is to go second hand if you want something cheap. Some old and great sounding guitars go for cheap on eBay. I've been buying any selling guitars ever since I started playing about six years back! Now is probably the best time to be a buyer as things seem to be going for cheap second hand.

My first acoustic was (and still is, although it badly needs upgrading, although I can't justify it for the amount I actually play my acoustic) was a Takamine G series.

Take a look at makes such as Takamine, Tanglewood, Fender, Yamaha. All relatively cheap for acoustic guitars second hand and will be good enough to gig even if that's what you plan to do later on!
