I know its only early stages of habbo turkey being open,
with only 99 people online at the moment.
Would you say it's been successful so far?

No, It's a complete fail - in my eyes.
When it opened today, there was about 350 users online (Before the ip block) and 99% of them 350 users was non-turkey.

Well what do you expect when you have people rushing to create id's full of names for whatever reason even though they will never use them. The names are free so people are going to take them, the exact same happened with the brazil hotel and look how popular that is now.

Might take a while to expand, but hopefully it turns out popular. If not, then this will have been a waste of time :P Ik quite a few Turkish users on .com so I'd imagine they're on there atm :o.

Aye, true. But habbo Brazil hasn't got failed moderators and customer service.
It's way too early to say if it's a success or a fail but I do believe English speaking people play a huge part in the growth of the Hotel for sure.

I've got tonnes of "rare" names on Brazilian hotel, they never deleted it or ip blocked anyone ;)

Way too early to tell, it hasn't even been open for a day. Maybe 6 months from now we could see if it is worth it. So far it's doing okay - I remember Habbo Italy having around only 30-40 visitors for the first weeks it was open, with some of them being foreigners (no ip block there at the time). We'll see where Turkey tops tomorrow and onwards, something around 100 online I'd guess, which is pretty good. It's not like everyone in Turkey knows about its existence right now (considering the almost zero marketing Habbo has nowadays), but I bet it'll gradually become more and more popular.
Ip block should have been there from the start, imo. Foreign and experienced Habbo users (compared to new Turkish ones) tend to mess it up when they're taking rare names or gathering credits or whatever, and it's not even going to be their main Hotel. But luckily the block is on now and we also get a better insight on how many _actual_ users the Hotel may have. Sure, it'll be lifted at some point, but at that time I'm hoping it'll have a solid community already which outsiders won't be able to ruin.
