View Full Version : Project Forum - Suggestions

I'm currently working on a Habbo themed forum skin mainly built for people who want to start their own Habbo community, but don't have the funds to license vBulletin and Xenforo.

It's going to be a free release (for bbPress) for everyone to experiment with and kick off their own community without the price tag.

Below are some live screenshots - what I'm essentially looking for are some suggestions of what sort of features you'd like to see (like out of the box integration with ShoutCast radio and stats) and whether the slightly unconventional layout and use of bbPress would put you off.

Another aspect I wanted a few opinions on is how 'habbo-ey' is acceptable with the design. So far I've used some character images and the main Habbo colour scheme, but I wanted to know whether everything should be made to look that way.

Thanks for any and all feedback!

It's for bbPress! The idea is essentially that it's completely free, top to bottom - including the software underneath the skin. It's also pretty different from a standard forum layout. That's either a brilliant idea or a terrible one, you guys can decide in a few weeks though!
