Hard to find a staff member who is at fault for that. You could argue it was the programmers, but they would argue that it was the testers who were supposed to find that sort of fault. The testers would argue the people who updated the catalogue did so in an erroneous fashion, and as a result they would argue that they had a lack of training.

why are they punishing you were it was their problem in the first place? As for hiding them, if staff/mods can't find them if hid they obviously have hardly any powers technically and just leave it and live with there consequences.

Well, people who were banned were supposed to be unbanned last week. But they made an error in their gold bar removal calculations, for instance if you bought 100gbs, they'd have removed 32? (the 'discounted' ones), and left the remaining 68 in your room. Which wasn't right, as some people had bought 100gbs, redeemed 100gbs, bought 200gbs and with that code only have had 64 removed.

They've re-calculated to their best efforts the actual number of gold bars that should be removed. For instance if you bought 100gbs, you will have 4 remaining to cover the '1c tax'. There's not much more they can do without losing legitimate gold bars.
