you girls that have dyed/bleached your hair HELP

i've had half my hair bleached since june and haven't had a problem with the dryness/damaged up until last week

my hairs naturally straight and when i blow dry it it should come out like this
(HAD TO STRAIGHTEN IT TO ACHIEVE WHAT IT USED TO LOOK LIKE)

i don't use any products or anything because my hairs quite thin and fine and it just make it look greasy or flatter than it already is ;(

can anybody whos dyed/bleached their hair and had this problem recommend anything i will owe you EVERYTHING
i simply cannot go on with hideous hair like this pre straightening

i should add that im on a tight budget cos i'm extremely poor and i'm not cutting it ever again so count that out

If it's that damaged you may be beyond repair and have to actually have the dead ends cut back... or just carry on straightening forever and ever. Get some heat defence stuff so you don't kill it any more, shouldn't make it greasy even with your spaghetti hair

That said, a decent conditioner shouldn't really cause any problems as long as you wash it through properly :S

i wash my hair everyday which probably also contributes to the problem but the top is so oil by the next day i HAVE TO

i'm using some **** conditioner at the moment and yeah you're right, if i use the one that comes with the dye packets my hair will be perfect when i dry it or let it naturally dry but i can't afford to get conditioner as decent as that

does anyone know any cheap good conditioners
deep conditioning does nothing for me

Yeah I darkened mine last week and when I used the conditioner that came with it I was like WOOOOOOOOW so soft and amazing haha, idk why they don't just make all conditioners like that. Guess your best bet is to try matching the brand so like if you've used a L'Oreal dye then try a L'Oreal conditioner - most brands have various ones for different types of hair so that's prob important to look into rather than just getting the cheap ones which tend to not have a specific target. Costs more obv but def gonna be worth it if it'll fix you up properly, just have to spend less on Habbo or something

I never actually ever bleached my hair but if it's like that like a bit damaged, Normally it would have to be cut, and etc so that it can grow out all better and healthy, If you have dead or damaged ends. Or they do have some special conditioners for like repairing damaged hair, Not sure if those work though as I never used them before but you can have a try :O ! I'm sure there are some that are a bit inexpensive ! But I would try and do it as soon as possible wheather it's the cut or conditioning because when its like that it doesn't tend to grow until it's all repaired

I once used a sample sachet and I could feel the difference in my hair when I washed it off, really good!

Have you tried putting the deep conditioner into your hair, wearing a shower cap and then blasting it for 5 minutes with your hairdryer? I do this and it works a lot better than if I just leave it on for a few minutes.

EDIT: Henara Treatment Wax is also a great conditioner, it's sold in Bodycare for about £3!

use normal conditoner but like, leave it on for 10 minutes before you wash it off, makes it much smoother

and might just be split ends so maybe get a trim :/

when i bleached my hair i was told to use protein products, not sure if that was a scam to buy more expensive stuff or what lol but i used stuff from the hairdresser. you could google for cheap protein conditioners, not really sure what to look for but that was my advice :P

Try some different shampoos and conditioners. I find that Aussie Miracle Moist Conditioner (if left on for a good 3-5 minutes) makes your hair amazing afterwards. My little sister uses it after messing her hair up like you did ;)

Mines been constantly bleached for about a year but never really been like that but I did used to get it cut every 6 weeks. You will probably have to get that trimmed because it looks really damaged. Have you tried conditioning masks on your hair at all? They are quite cheap so maybe try them before cutting it. Do you use sun in spray whilst outside? The sun can naturally do a lot of damage more to bleached hair than normal hair I was told by my hairdresser

can't really help with the damaged hair at the moment, but you said you wash your hair every day? yeah it does damage your hair, but if you dilute your conditioner and shampoo it stops any damage being done. i mean when you buy a new shampoo/conditioner, take out half and put it in another empty bottle and then fill half-full bottles up with water n mix it about. i've never tried this but i read it in a bobbi brown book :)

plus it's cheaper cos you're using less (A)

no i've a heat protection spray thats only for before straightening but i rarely use it, i know it looks quite damaged but it looks worse in that photo than it is, i'm fairly certain i can fix it without having to cut it. when i deep condition my hair i literally can't step outside cos it looks disgusting and i know i'm washing it out properly, it's all too rich for my hair to handle

aussi helps a LOT!
it's quite a lot but over the last year i's been on offer a lot (like 2 for £10). the 5 min miracle moist conditioner helped my hair so much! (i got it bleached bathed twice and dyed ginger so it was in pretty bad condition)

oops didnt read the post above, there's also stuff that body shop do and lush where you leave it on. i don't like it the rainforest one cos it makes my hair oily but it's worth a try. it does help with the split ends thing :)

and edit even more, if you were willing to splash out a little bit then i think it's paul mitchell skinny serum is reallllllly good! you only need a teeny weeny bit and it makes your hair so nice :)
