Currently got a router upstairs to the left of my house shall we say, there is poor signal downstairs to the right of my house and virtually no wifi signal in the garden. I gather I need some sort of network extender?

I have this router at the moment; http://www.amazon.co.uk/Linksys-Cisco-WRT120N-Wireless-N-Router/dp/B00318BN72/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1345461527&sr=8-1

What would I need to purchase to extend the network downstairs? And would it be difficult to do? This caught my eye as it was around £21 but no idea if it'll work; http://www.amazon.co.uk/TP-Link-TL-WA730RE-150MBPS-Wireless-Extender/dp/B003UZFSDG/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1345461567&sr=8-8

Many thanks for any help, I will of course +rep useful replies

You basically just need to put it at a decent distance from your Cisco one where the signal is strong enough for it to spit back out.

You can also flash the firmware on an old router and use that as an extender
