GTA 5 screenshots

Three brand new, never before seen screenshots of the upcoming Grand Theft Auto V have been shown off recently on Joystiq's website. The 3 screenshots show a different vehicle, an old classic called Cheetah, one just a regular bike (could be returning like the bikes in San Andreas) and a jet that looks like the Hydra. All 3 screenshots can be seen below

Unfortunatly, while these screenshots may have been revealed, there is still no release date announced quite yet. So enjoy these screenshots now, and more may be released soon.

It should, considering that this game takes place in San Andreas, well a IV era San Andreas at least.

That road texture is pretty damn awful. They might be compensating the sexy looking cars and other vehicles by having poor textures and graphics in other areas, or this is an early build.

The car is fab though,

And I don't know much about the main character(s), but has it definitely been confirmed that flying planes / what sort of planes is back...

Because I really am desperate to know, so I hope that's not just from a cut scene...

In all fairness, it is at an angle you would never really look at it from so I do think it would look better in game. If it doesn't well then hopefully there will be a PC texture pack of sorts.

Indeed. It's like the original GTA IV trailers. The textures are and were awful, they just added a smoke effect to anything but the vehicles :P

It's definitely a nice improvement on IV from the looks of these.

Graphics doesn't mean so much to me, but what i hope they keep is the car damage. I'm pretty sure thats why a lot of people still play GTA IV because of how fun it is to tear cars apart. I hope they include features like GTA: SA did like buy tons of clothing, working out at the gym, its pretty possible.

I used to love taking a chainsaw to my car in IV I think it was, and just driving a metal shell with no tyres.. haha,
I loved the shopping and interaction features too,
I you can get in more buildings.

i'm hoping so much that the quality of the game is on par with san andreas (which obviously is the best within the series). i have a feeling it probably won't, but my fingers, toes, arms and legs are all crossed.

It's still the same generation of consoles, GTA VI will probably look much better.

Wouldn't the photo showing tennis just be there to show that NPCs now do more than they used to in GTA IV? Tramps use bins and shoppers can carry bags and umbrellas in the city in GTA IV, it doesn't mean you can as well :P It could just be there for aesthetic reasons... Then again, you could play golf in IV so you never know.

Not sure if you can play tennis but it looks like there will be more random NPC animations happening, like in GTA 5 you'd randomly see NPCs fixing their broken cars on the side of the road or cops pulling someone over

I know it's completely the wrong type of game, but I love the more real life aspects they add.
The ability to have indicators would also be fab in my opinion.

I don't think its been scrapped as Zavvi.com still have it listed up for a November 23rd release. Lets hope this is the real deal because I can't wait any longer

The screenshots pack shown above is titled Business, so far we've seen Leisure, Transport and Business. Wonder if more will come tomorrow or next week.

No doubt GTA V will be Game of the Year, or decade! The graphics look amazing, I'm not too suprised about em, considering 2K (Creators of Mafia ll) helped design some of the graphics. Mafia ll's Graphics were awesome, but I'm going to love the modern style this time.

I hope the controls aren't too sluggish like GTA IV's controls, imo. Hopefully there will be much more customization too, and a hugeeeee map to explore! :)
