OK firstly i wanna say great show great entries go people xoxo
Right ok. Now to the point.
Throughout the WHOLE show, ollz and gina were saying "oh richie's last his entry is so good everyone's looking forward to that" (shouldn't slots be random, right?).
And on the HxL site it clearly states "All entries over 1:30 will be ignored" which they weren't as I only thing 2 or 3 were actually under that time. He got waaaaay more than that, just because he wrote a funny song. I'm trying to make this as impersonal as possible, not having a go at any of you, I just don't get how you think it's fair to big someone up and clearly give them an advantage over everyone else.
I think that many more of the better entries actually got more than a minute 30, whereas the worse ones were cut off pretty much on time, or even early.
Sorry if I offend anyone here btw, I'm just saying. Bit miffed (even tho i decided not to enter) that you 2 seem to have set your winner before the voting even opens, completely swaying the audience...

They seemed to cut a few short, then just play crap or talk to each other and bore the hell out of us for 5 minutes between every 2 clips...
Next time they should just play the full length of every one, not play random other music, and introduce every clip with 'This is x singing x' and shut up about everything else.

I've said a few times on Skype while listening that the DJs have kind of been name dropping Richie throughout the show which is kind of unfair as it puts him at a bit of advantage so yeah I agree.
Also everyone got cut off at different points which is unfair as some people got their entries played for longer and I think Richie got his full song played? Don't hold me on that but it feels like other people got less than a minute. Maybe you guys were rushing but it's simply unfair as it puts others at an advantage.

yeah i agree, didn't seem really well planned, only 'clip, talk clip talk' so it could have been done a bit better imo. also saying oh i dont wanna be here i have to ditch my mates for this just doesn't give off the right impression... :/

As it's all a bit of fun :P they can remove me from the competition if they wish, I just did it for a laugh. Originally when I created the song it was 30secs too long so I asked boomitsgina could I go over slightly and she said yeah it's fine but if they need to they'll cut it short, which is understandable, so i don't really see the problem.

I thought the same throughout the show. All the clips should have been the same length to keep it fair and the hosts shouldn't have been glorifying one entrant over another so much.
Good show nonetheless!

Don't rage quit in the heat of the moment. People like to complain for the sake of it. Everything habbox hosts is unfair or **** in someones eyes but when you think about it, it isn't like you're paying any sort of subscription, it's free entertainment. If you didn't get a few giggles out of some of those clips you need to grow a sense of humour, although it wasn't the best show in the world them few clips you laughed at where played to you for free, so quit whining guys and if it's that much of a problem leave the website. I'm not being bias because I'm a guest dj, if i resigned I would still have the same opinion. I'm a guest dj if I didn't think Olz or Gina did their best I wouldn't say it, I have no arses to lick because I have no positions to snatch.

I think Laura is upset 'cause it's not really the sort of thing that you should be saying on air as when I heard you say it, it didn't really sound like a joke, but it didn't really involve me sooo. Yeah, it does actually make people think twice about doing something if the DJ tells them not to. You probably should have made it more obvious you were joking :P

I think with any show like this there will always be parts which could be changed or improved on. I did notice myself that some songs were cut pretty short while I was enjoying listening to them but didn't think much of it. Now that you reminded me of the 1:30 rule then it all made sense - It would be wise to make sure that ALL entries have the same amount air time. No one should have less or more. While I do like Richie's entry I also see the point where they said about it being good and people are waiting for it - Then again, they could have said that because of what people actually said about it in the thread.
Although remaining unbiased about the entries and not making anyone seem the best or a favourite is probably key. But we have to remember here, these are put on for a bit of fun and we don't follow the X Factor rules.
I was a bit concerned that you weren't aware of who was actually management mainly but that can easily be improved on.
Gina/Ollz - There is no reason to resign over this thread - You get used to these and to be honest you are very good DJ's and staff members at Habbox. You are giving us your free time to do something you enjoy and the show itself was actually good. With most feedback you just take it on the chin - Act upon it if needed and then just ignore any harsh comments that you may find personal/insulting.
I would have personally sent this in a PM to the DJ's and the Radio Management and maybe even include the GM or Community AGM as normally these threads are bit out of control and people just start to bash any other member of staff or even target them personally. Which if you are unaware staff members, you should read this here. (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=748676)

aww i didn't think the DJ's were that bad because they did say "oh this one is really good" or "that was really good!" (when they really weren't) so i thought it was unbiased in that way but talking about someone elses entry who wasn't even played until the end is not fair at all. kinda a coincidence he was played at the end too because you tend to remember the first and last entries? :P obviously it's a contest and people may win based on popularity and humor but it's unfair on those entries that were good but just passed over for someone who did it for a joke (not saying you didn't put in effort because you obviously did) but yeah. really not fair to continually talk about one person's being "really good" or even talking about it at all because it just gives them more publicity and makes people think "well if everyone else likes it i don't want to be any different"

Ah, another thread which has inevitably turned into some form of HabboxLive-bashing - I guess we're all feeling bored and particularly hormonal this evening. I didn't listen to the show because I find the whole process cringeworthy, just like the X-Factor, but I don't support people being rude to staff members in a public thread. The two hosts have dedicated their time to the site regardless of how good or bad it was. Please remember that Habbox is merely a fansite dedicated to an online game for teenagers; it's not big or important compared to many others, and there is no reason at all why someone should feel the need to leave after doing what they enjoy.

Tbh. Most shows have lots of DJs going "erm" and biding little pieces of time with additional words "so", "basically" etc. So unless you demand everyone in HxL stops doing that and pretty much 95% of the population considering most of us do it irl, I don't see the huge issue. They were nervous and that's fine - I'd be nervous if I was trying to host one of the few big events HxL does per year, especially if I put a clip of me singing in it.
I understood the whole news apps thing as a joke, but idk how others would feel about that SO I WON'T GO INTO THAT OR I'LL BE SHOUTED AT.
Yeah some of the entrants were missing, which is a dreadful shame. When the voting poll goes up, will users have a chance to listen again? That'll give the entrants not included a chance to actually enter the comp. and be heard haha. I would have loved to hear Rosie's @Elegance (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=78221); singing.
I don't think it was a bad show. Some of the personal DJ convos went on for a bit, but I didn't think it was terrible? These things can't always flow easily, and considering Logan is away (I believe) I think they did an "O.K" job dealing with it themselves. Still got the listeners up eh?
--
And yes, it is funny how most major events get huge complaints in Hx Feedback. In all fairness, some of the things people have brought up in here are perfectly fine issues to complain about, but others seem to have this image that habbox events must be 100% perfect, to plan with no flaws, no errors, no mistakes etc. which is just unrealistic for ANYONE.

I thought the show was bad. You would have thought a show with such hype and advertisements would actually be planned out but it just sounded like a mess. Cutting off entries halfway through just to play regular songs (as well as hyping up the last, much longer entry in full) is not right, especially when the timings were already messed up. I appreciate the effort but I don't think the 2 DJs tried their best.

I think the songs should have been in a randomised order. I think it was totally unfair that staff members who knew each other ones better got more praise and saved to the last - have nothing against Richie and I thought his song was amazing.

Actually to be honest - it's at the end of the day a bit of fun. . .
Yet some peoples weren't played? That wasn't fair.
Constructive criticism is good, yes and im sure they will work on it for tomorrow. But putting down two of our DJ's, to the point that they both approached me on MSN saying they wanted to quit over this, well just wow.
This is a show where two people have taken time out of their lives to try and have a laugh and do a nice show, this isnt the BBC, this doesnt need to be perfect, its two teenagers on a habbo fansite trying their hardest.. I don't see whats wrong with that. It seems nothing is good enough on hxl for some people, the same people who usually just foul mouth our department and give us no feedback (like some people in the helpdesk).
I'm sure any CC feedback will be sorted for the next show, and I'm sure its going to be even better then there last show because gina and ollz are excellent djs and excellent people and they know how to make things better now.

I do understand all of what you're saying. But why don't you personally PM a manager or something?

This is the feedback section though and people are giving FEEDBACK. That's kind of the purpose of this section of the forum. Maybe the DJs need to understand that by going on air they might get some criticism and suggestions from listeners on how to improve.

No offence to anyone in this thread, but in my opinion and to be honest most of HabboxLive's opinion both Gina and Oliver put on an amazing show, gaining more listeners than I do believe we have had in while. There is no reason for either of them to quit just because a few certain people who won't be named can't get over the fact that the show was a success in most peoples opinions. At the end of the day Gina and Oliver have amazing on air chemistry and they are extremely good friends too. Just because other people who wanted to get involved in HxStarz didn't get involved is no reason to create some ridiculous thread going on about how bad or lame or whatever it was. Because it wasn't!
Yeah they may have been a little biased but its kind of hard not to be when you have certain entries that are just up there whilst others aren't really that good. At least Gina and Oliver both commented on the fact that they were good and how amazing they were even though to be quite frank they sounded like a cat having its tail ripped off. I heard most of the entries before they were aired and to be honest a few were over the market yeah but I'm sure if anyone asked there could have been an exception especially because the first like 10 seconds of Richie's is like blank anyway. And the reason some of them weren’t played were because they didn’t come in before the mark. At the end of the day they came in like 30 minutes after they were suppose to and the deadline was pushed back a number of times so they had plenty of chances. All of the DJs commented on HxStarz so everyone knew it was happening!
Gina and Oliver have never really done big events like this and this is the first time they have done anything big together and they really did try, they made it funny and they made me laugh and want to sing along to each of the entries. Just because they bigged up Richie is no reason for any people to get their knickers in a twist because at the end of the day everyone was bigging up richies in the Habbox Help Desk and on the forum and plus Richie has been posting his youtube video of it everywhere.
In my personal opinion neither Oliver nor Gina should caught otherwise they are just rising to the idiots on here who have no common sense whatsoever and those who just couldn’t get their own way. And to be honest. Thanks for all the criticism. Because now they can do an amazing show tomorrow and just show off how amazing they are!

HabboxLive hasn't got a manager at the moment seeing as he is away, Jazz perfectly replied as she is as good as and gave us her opinion and feedback so wouldn't need to contact them at the moment.
I do agree with Maggots; though, it's not just HabboxLive but yes I think it could have been organised better and such it's happened now I guess.

Yeah and thats why i said about all the feedback being taken in im on about comments like:

how the **** is that feedback that could help our djs improve?

Again this is an issue that needs to be sent to habboxlive management as it's unfair on these staff members to be targeted publicly. Thread closed.
