Tad confused here, just went to buy some stuff and I say to the guy do you have change of 5c he says "yes". So I put gold coin and silver in he says "oh I can't take these there not worth that". Have I missed something here?

I looked in the cat there still 11c for gold coin 6c for silver. :S

The gold coin is worth 10 credits and the silver 5.

1c is added on as a kind of 'Habbo commission'.

Other than that, a gold coin should be accepted as 10c and the silver as 5c as this is there redeemable value.

sack sells for 19c
ten coin sells for 9c
five coins sells for 4c
one coin sells for... 1c

(ever since the change of where you have to pay +1c from 50, everyone sold it -1c from 50)

Basically what Mk said, it's just not profitable enough for a lot of people to accept coins that aren't bronze. Bit pathetic if you ask me, too many people just interested in profit :l

unfortunately, you're one of very very VERY few people who still feel that. I understand why, but since Sulake put credit 'tax' on it's just screwed with coin values. Put it this way - bronze is the only coin that's worth it.

10 bronze coins is not one 1 gold coin because of the 1c commission.

Thats only if you selling for bronze coins tho, if buying something in a shop it all = normal values, if they not accepting other stuff at full value when buying items in a shop they are just an idiot and this is so uncommon its barely anything to worry about.

This, everything sells for 1c less than what its worth, except bronze coin of course.

Yeah I like profit don't get me wrong but I still take 10c = 10c etc. The only thing I'll buy/sell cheaper is Gold Bars when I need bronze or if it's something I'm getting a lot of profit on I don't mind doing 19c for Sack.
