Horsey Update!

so a few months ago I posted about Apollo falling over and breaking his leg and having to be destroyed.
I also think I posted about Windsor who the owner of Apollo ended up buying. However, I haven't been able to ride him because they didnt have a saddle that fitted him and at the time he was very skinny so there was no point in getting one.

last week we finally got a saddle! first time I rode him he decided it would be great to try and buck me off everytime i tried to get him into canter.
today (3rd time riding him) he was great though :) only bucked once and it was a teeny one

aw hes beautiful, sorry to hear about Apollo. Good to hear your getting on well with Windsor though, was bound to be a little fresh after not being ridden, my horse used to always buck, first time i rode him, he decided to have a roll in the sand whilst i was on his back ;l so feel lucky haha.
