With rumors of Apple holding a second event in October to release a small iPad , around 7 inches.

Do you think Apple would release an iPad mini to compete with googles Nexus and Amazons Kindle Fire?

Also what would you say Apple would have the price at?

For it to really compete with Google, they need to push their prices even lower, possibly match Google's 16GB £199.

The idea of Apple releasing anything cheap just made me lol. I wouldn't be surprised if they release a 7" and it's at least £100 more than all of it's competitors.

If they do release one soon, as they're rumoured to, I'll be buying one. If not, it'll be a Nexus 7 :P. if they did release one, I'd expect 8GB/16GB options (maybe 32GB) and prices from £249 - although maybe £299.

Not really. They'd be completely different, and the screen would be at least double the size of an iPhone :P.
