This isn't really a problem so much as a question.

I have a pair of headphones with the regular green/pink audio jacks that used to be plugged into the front of my computer. I say used to be because I noticed a strange buzzing noise whenever I booted up any graphic intensive program such as a game or editing software.

I fixed the problem by changing the headphones to the audio ports at the back. However I've noticed that using them, sound is a lot lower (while playing music, games or watching videos). I'm not complaining; I can hear everything perfectly fine. But does anyone know why this is?

The port on the back is most likely the line out connector which is not designed for powering headphones hence the lower volume. What headphones are you using?

Nevermind, I'm a complete idiot. I didn't realize that when I switched audio ports I would reset my enhancements, hence the low volume on videos and games. All seems fine now.
