Cabinet Reshuffle

Some of the moves are fairly good, though I'm not sure why Michael Gove retained his position. And just re-reading, my towns MP has got a place in the cabinet.

I think it was expected that Baroness Warsi would be removed as the head, although it's quite interesting that they've decided to keep her in there. She used to live on my street... I remember she gave out Celebrations chocolates when I went Trick-or-Treating there as a child. :P

David Laws, the expense fiddling MP is back - a man who apparently committed fraud against the taxpayer. Baroness Warsi is shifted sideways (actually a good move, as she was only put there as she ticked all the correct boxes being Asian and Islamic - said so herself). Left wing Ken Clarke shifted from Justice, replaced by left wing Chris Grayling (a man we're all supposed to believe is conservative in any sense of the word) ...... so no change at all.

My ideal cabinet would look a lot different, here's some of what I would like to see off the top of my head (below) based on their work on each subject - as opposed to them just being placed in any job whether suited or not, as they are now.

Prime Minister - Nigel Farage
Chancellor of the Exchequer - Godfrey Bloom or Daniel Hannan
Minister for Education - Peter Hitchens
Minister for Energy and Environment - Lord Monckton
Minister for Europe - Lord Pearson, John Redwood, Douglas Carswell or Roger Helmer
Minister for Welfare - Iain Duncan Smith or/and Frank Field
Minister for State reform (new department) - David Davis
Minister for Business, Skills and Innovation - scrapped.
Minister for Culture, Media and Sport - scrapped.
Minister for Equality - scrapped.
Minister for International Development - scrapped.
Minister for Northern Ireland - scrapped.
Minister for Wales - scrapped.

Because Michael Gove, despite belonging to the useless pro-comprehensive Conservative Party, is actually one of the more competent ones who part of me actually has a tiny bit of faith in - if only he had the stomach to come out in support of the return of the grammar schools, but alas, he'd be sacked.

Gove and Duncan Smith are the only ones in the cabinet who I would trust with my lunch money.
