not even sure how big of changes they're making, ive only heard that they're focusing on the offensive AI

Every fifa is an improvement, the new minigames they have added look interesting as well as players making better runs etc. It should be good and i love ultimate team as well as pro clubs so im looking forward to fifa.

I just hope the clubs is a step up from 12 (As a big player in the clubs scene, I truly hope it has evolved, because towards February-ish, the community sort of died down due to the shocking impact engine)

I like the penalties in fifa 12, they take more skill than just 'hold left trigger up and right to make it go in that general area'

unless you want the ultimate edition then dont bother pre-ordering, just get it in store

i bought the ea season ticket which lets you play the game 6 days early I think- means i can get a good head start on ultimate team woo

Shirt pulling is way too overpowered- and often doesn't result in a free kick even when its so obvious that it was a foul

Finesse shots have been nerfed too much :(

Pace is wrong. They've said they want to make pace less prominent and thats a good thing, but when Mertesacker is keeping up with Aguero you know something is wrong :P

- Referee is now not **** and actually makes good calls.
- Players make some awesome runs off the ball
- Pace is now NOT such an issue, obviously a 90 pace player is still quick but whereas before UT relied on pace, now it does not.
- Long shots are cool
- I love the EASFC catalogue
- Skill games are so addictive

There are a few downsides (hopefully fixed when the full game comes out)
- Finesse has been toned down TOO much. In fifa 12 finesse = goal, but now finesse = an embarrassing miss (usually).
- Where finesse is underpowered, power shots are overpowered.
- Commentary is its usual poor self (albeit slightly better than fifa 12)

overall a really good game! Ultimate team is great fun, I'll try out some H2H later :D

Many people from the clubs scene have mentioned it feels much more like Fifa 10 (Which was the perfect Fifa)

Going by the pre-release demos PES is actually on top again this year after an embarrassing couple of releases. Other than the licensing for team names and stuff (which you can fix with a patch) there's nothing that FIFA has over PES in the 2013 versions, although it's good to see that the ridiculous insta-goal button (finesse) has been toned down, made the entire game pointless and stupidly arcade-y. Just hope the actual release is as good as the demo this year, since last year's PES demo was incredible then they removed all the best bits of it for the real game :P

IF Miccoli is just amazing- his free kick stats are like 92 power, 94 accuracy, 92 curve (and 94 penalties)

He cost like 20k to convert from a striker but my god was it worth it lmao
