Ok but I just think the two you chose looked tacky for that money, if you're going to spend that money get something more out there and amazing.
I guess it's my opinion so I'm sorry about that, but I'd probably break the wiring within 2-3 days.

I use the Shure SE215's. Absolutely love them. If the 315s are better (which I'd imagine they are) you can't go wrong! :)

Some people don't really like the feel of over-ears (including myself :P) not to mention some people appreciate sound quality over looks!

I find the isolation and precision of the sound of in-ears a bit better than the bulkiness I get with headphones, personally. It's a Mac vs PC argument, neither is really superior but people prefer one over the other.
