If the world's population were to live in one city, how big would that city be?

Often we think of ourselves as having more of an impact (and being more important) than we really are, the map just goes to prove otherwise. Even if the worlds population were to double a few times, we'd still be able to feed everyone - think of how big the African continent is yet it cannot even feed itself because it cannot rule itself. The same can always be said for current affair issues such as deforestation, 'global warming', population growth, starvation, resources and so on - there's plenty of room and plenty to go around provided you have sovereign states and peoples (not governments) capable of doing so.

I think when we're on the ground we think of everything being smaller than it is, ever notice on a plane when you take off from the United Kingdom (or arrive back in British airspace) just how small the towns and villages are in the grand scheme of things? something to think about anyway.

Thoughts?

I wouldn't want to live in the same place of everyone.
