So it says ''You have been banned! The reason for the ban is "You have been banned until 12-09-2012 15:17:51. Offering and/or requesting of Social Media contact information is not permitted. Please review the Habbo Way and Terms for acceptable usage. (id: 3074235)". The ban will expire at 9/12/12 3:17 PM (GMT +0000) Eastern Time.''

Can someone tell me if I've been banned until tomorrow or December? And what hour BST?

Thank you!

I'd say until tomorrow;
1. Why would they free you December 9th? It is such a random date when you were banned today, September 11th.
2. It says GMT, which is UK time (BST is 1 hour difference) - UK dates list the day first.

Okay, thank you both! I was just seeing the 09/12 there and freaked out. xD 3 months without my account would be awful. And December 9th could be like 90 days from now. Idk, just freaked out. xD

habbo is going crazy on bans. It's really annoying. I mean I know people always seem to want to go back to older versions; but now I can't see why anyone would want the new system.

Not really, asking for Facebook/Skype etc. suchas in this ban is a perfectly acceptable ban reason.

I do get that as an acceptable reason, it just seems that every which way I look, lots of people are getting banned. I'd be worried that if I were speaking to someone I actually know would be classed as explicit i.e. like sending personal info or arranging a meet.

I mean I got banned for my username. It just seems to have clamped down so much more than it used to be.

After the Channel 4 investigation, they've had too.

Think I read up about this. Is it because they were seen to have little evasive action in preventing chats - which lost investor confidence?

Obviously you should protect your younger users - but I think that they may have just overstepped the mark in order to boost credence in believing that Habbo is safe. I mean banning people for use of words like Teabags, boxers or something else, to me just seems alittle off - surely I think that it should at least be reviewed before handing out perm bans freely and frequently.
