Some of you may know I had the username Bucho6 on my ID, an ex-UK hotel manager. It's been on my ID for a few years now however I logged in today and noticed the name of it has been changed to namechange251.

Anyone have an idea when these were changed or for what reason?
The account was perm banned so I can't see why changing the name would have made any difference.

If you look at Bucho6 in first screenie it says last logged in 34 months ago, the name deletion wasn't that long ago.

The account was made by abusing a glitch in november 2009. All accounts created using this glitch have now been renamed.

Yea. Just searched namechange and theres a lot with last login was 34 months, so probably just renamed to free them up for other people?

I have a well known staff name but it hasnt been banned/renamed

Chaz did get it then. When homepages were open, you could go on Bucho's page and it would be wearing Chaz clothes and had been logged in

at the time when it was created there was a bug allowing you to put any character in a user-name, the name had a character before or after it which would appear as a space in client like " bucho6" or "bucho6 ", they banned all of them recently due to a glitch that would force the accounts with spaces in them on to the original name, so it would log him in to "bucho6" without the space and since banning them they've started renaming the ones that people have access to, mine got changed to namechange311

the spaces didn't show up on the name in the character list on your id if you thought that, unless you actually created it yourself and remember it was just "Bucho6" (even tho chaz has that account from the name deletion..) it was just a coincidence that it got changed at the same time of all the space names owned by other people then
