So, my friends got me to watch this trailer in media and I screamed. I think it's the scariest trailer I've ever seen, oh my god. Saying that, I actually really wanna watch it in the cinema with my friends.. god knows why. :P
@Intersocial (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=86637); please watch it..

I saw it last month. Horror movies rarely effect me, but SINISTER is the most genuinely frightening and creepy horror film I have seen in YEARS. Off the record, I'm hosting ten screenings across the UK soon, I'll update this thread when I have the deets.

When you have something good to say about a film it really must be worth watching. :P Really can't wait to see it then, just gotta persuade my friends to come with me.

IM NOT EVEN CLICKING THAT TRAILER. All I needed to see on a bus irl was an advertisement for the film that said "From the makers of Paranormal Activity and Insidious". more than enough for me tyvm.
I hate horror, and if I watch this trailer which people described in hxhd, I will not sleep LOL. Ryan runeaddict99; I actually feel sorry for you haVing to watch that trailer to see whether it was deserving of a spoiler or not.

actually quite looking forward to this. reminds me of almost a cross between strangers, a girl with the dragon tattoo (Swedish version) and Orphan. Not sure how new the ideas are then really but still looks good.
Misawa recommended, can't complain.

Are you actually my mother in disguise!!! She said exactly the same thing to me.
I want to see this but none of my friends will watch it with me and I don't fancy seeing it alone :(

I'm a woman in a man's body - close enough xx
I'll go see it with you. By that I mean, I'll hide behind the seat whilst you watch it (A). Can't believe you won't be afraid with others but alone you will xD

Because when I'm alone I can rage about the bits that don't add up
EXAMPLE
Me: WTF THAT MAN JUST GOT STABBED IN THE BRAIN WHY IS HE STAGGERING.
WHEN YOU GET STABBED IN THE HEAD YOU DON'T STAGGER AND DIE.
YOU JUST DIE.

MMm actually, logically he could stagger for a few seconds (up to 10 tbh). There have been cases reported in the past on people who have been decapitated or have somehow had their brain detached from their body, who have managed to show signs of life for a few seconds. Oh thinking about it, that might actually only be the head part that keeps life for a little while k nvm. BUT STILL YOU WOULDN'T IMMEDIATELY DIE ;lll
Most annoying bit is "omg something is about to fall on me and crush me" "-stands there for 5 seconds whilst raising my hands and shouting ahhh instead of BLOODY MOVING OUT OF THE WAY".

That looks bloody terrifying. Not sure if I would see that, some parts of that trailer actually made me jump :P

The bit with the guy in the bush and the bit at the end made me jump really badly. Although, throughout the trailer I was jumping at even the smallest things. :P

WELL I DON'T THINK YOU'D HAVE THE MENTAL CAPACITY TO START STAGGERING AND GOING "H-H-HELP SOMEONE PL-PLEA- *DIES* ;l
And I am intrigued by Sinister because it does not appear to have a stupid blonde woman who always ends up dying because she runs outside shouting "WHO'S THERE OMG CRIES PLEASE DON'T HURT ME I'M TOO PRETTY"

There's none of that. And don't watch any trailers, ESPECIALLY the new red-band trailer. It is ridden with spoilers. Go in cold and trust me.

Went to see today, was originally going to see Lopper but didn't arrive in time. Wasn't sure what to expect, another paranormal activity e.g. nothing happens much or what but it was pretty good. Liked that the film wasn't really gory e.g. some scenes such as the lawn mower scene, the camera cuts out just before we see the carnage but in a way that makes us imagine what happened.

Um, the scene with the lawn mower made me scream. Thank god you couldn't see it. I think it's because it was pretty silent whilst the child was going across the grass and then as soon as you saw the face, there roar of the lawn mower was there too.
WHY AREN'T SPOILERS WORKING
