Is there a context for this apology or did he just ring up channel 4 and say 'I wanna apologise?' :P

He's sorry for making his pledge but not sorry for allowing it to happen. :noway:

Well it is the Lib Dem conference from Saturday so his half-hearted apology is linked to that. Try and get less hated disliked for three days.

They need a new leader. He's hopeless. It's like having a half-witted sidekick in charge - mainly because that's exactly what it is :/

He might as well not say sorry for the University dilemma, he might as well just say sorry for being the Lib Dem leader.

Meh he's an idiot but I do prefer the new version of tuition fees so not really bothered, it's not like I'm actually paying anything anyway since it's all loaned

Well what would be the point in a new leader? the party is still rotten to the core, as are the other two.

Replacing Clegg with Cable makes as much difference as replacing Cameron with Johnson does - it's all worthless theatre.

I actually supported the Lib Dems before they screwed this up, sorry won't get them their vote back now though.
