Watch the Shinjuku Incident last night on film 4, part of their martial arts season.

However Shinjuku Incident isn't a martial art film, it's a drama film with a slight bit of action. I was curious as it starred Jackie Chan. I've been getting into martial arts film in the last year or so and have seen quite a lot of Jackie's stuff (his English and Chinese films).

I wasn't sure how it would pan out. At first I kept expecting Jackie Chan to kick ass but I found myself really drawn in to the story and Jackie Chan's character in a way that I actually forgot about Jackie Chan the martial arts fighter and found myself believing his character and story.

Has anyone else seen this and if so what did you think. In my opinion the film shows Jackie Chan can actually act and I'd like to see him take on some more drama based films (as well as his martial art films).

Did you meet Jackie? Would love to meet the guy. People these day's don't seem to realise the risks people like him take and think it's all just staged - the man burnt his hands sliding down lights among many other stunts.

I recommend the film it shows a new Jackie
