I gave your idea some votes as it's quite an interesting one and would be nice to see some of those put into action for sure.

The API login is intriguing as they could set it up something like the steam one

The other API stuff probably won't sit with them too well as they seem to be really pushing the client at the moment and allowing fansites to pull that info could really harm that.
