You got muted because someone reported you and the Guardians decided that your actions were worthy of a mute. Guardians can only take action on the user that has been reported and not on anyone else, regardless of how many users in a room are breaking the Habbo Way.

I fail to see how I went down to his level. I said nothing but "mature words"? I had a serious conversation and never said anything abusive. If they did supposedly look at what I said, then they are either blind or just don't give a crap about helping.

No they arent perfect. Most of them will abuse their powers "for teh lolz" or to boost and therefore will just negative anything.

The trouble is with the guardian system is probably about 70% of them are kids who can't read stuff within context. Most of the time it's the user1 or whatever who's behaving worse than the 'suspect'. The system just fails.

i think most guardians try to boost the talent track quickly by pressing "bad" since its easier for them because when you're a guardian on duty you get a call at least every 5 seconds but its no excuse not to look through the conversation properly, maybe the guardians only really looked at what he said then pressed bad? idk
