John Terry found guilty

Ok so Terry has been found guilty of racially abusing Anton Ferdinand, he gets a 4 match ban.

Last year Suarez got an 8 match ban for the same thing so why is Terry so different? I think the FA are a disgrace 1 rule for 1 person yet different for somebody else.

Thoughts on this?

Im still confused that he was found not guilty in a court of law but guilty of the same offence from the FA, and in relation to Suarez they should be releasing details but it seems rediculous he only gets a 4 game ban

To be found guilty in a court of law, it has to be proved beyond reasonable doubt.

For the FA it has to be a favoured probability (i.e over 50/50 chance that it happened)

Utterly ridiculous - found not guilty by a high profile team of legal experts but the FA still want to punish him. It's like saying that all accusations are going to be treated as crimes even when all proof goes to the contrary just because "ehhh I guess it's something that could have happened"

Seems stupid that the FA think he's guilty yet a court of law thinks otherwise.

Why can't the FA stop taking matters into their own hands like this? Fabio Capello resigned because of the FA taking matters into their own hands.

And also, if the FA feel that they know better than court, why has he only got a 4 match ban? Suarez got 8...

I think it's stupid how it's different for some but others get off lightly, they said near enough the same thing or near equal in discrimination level. Shouldn't there be at least a minimum ban if you're found to be racist, a fixed one at that and then anything else to add gets put on top.
