HabboHut V5 Is Live!

Hello there!

As some of you may know, I work at HabboHut as a Head DJ {I recently took up my position again} and there was a post here a few weeks ago about the upcoming version five. This post was slated a lot due to poor spelling/grammar and a bad reputation of the site.

Well, I'd like to inform you all that VERSION FIVE IS LIVE! You should go over and check it out, I think it looks pretty good - but I guess it's up to you to decide!

Reminder: This is not an opportunity to slate the site from what you knew in the past of it, but a chance to see it with fresh eyes now that the new website is out. However, that's not to say constructive criticism of the new layout isn't acceptable. Thanks.

Oh that looks pretty neat, some features are similar to other fansites and it would be an incredibly difficult to get a fansite highly popular again but the layout is quite nice. Good luck with the it all :)

Was just abotu to say this. You've went and made a post but put no link and sadly a lot of people are lazy.

Design wise it's okay but I'm never a fan of Habbo sites too much because they all look similar.

The SPAG is still wrong on the front page sadly. The layout looks ok but follows colour schemes of other fansites :P.

The thread I made about v5 coming out soon was about showing and telling people about it. Who cares about the spelling, everyone makes mistakes in their post. No one is perfect.

The best thing about it is the banner, I like that... but I won't be using it regularly because you've made the navigation of it way too hard with just using icons and no text unless you hover over each one.

Don't advertise that you do news and wiki if you don't care about spelling.

When it's an official post like this, promoting a site, good spag is known to give a good first impression and pre-judgement of the site. Would you rather visit the first or second site?

It's a shame HabboHut is at the point its at, It used to be a very popular website. But once the main source (The habbo staff) left it to be ran by the community its died, Maybe its just a start to the end? The new update looks like a free layout on HabboEmotion.com

The wiki they're working on is obviously better than ours, they probably have someone competent managing their wiki.
