Could just be me (I always say that haha!!)
Whenever I view the staff list (On both site skin 2010 and 2011) it says staff members are offline (the little blob doesnt go green), despite them being online?
It basically says everyone is offline when you hover over their names. :P
I hope its not just me LOL!

v7 is the site though, this is forum related so could be fixed anytime surely? :P
Would be great to hear something from management about this, since its been over a month now and no official response :( I used to love being able to see which staff members were online etc. I know its only a little thing, but was quite nifty! If a new member views it and sees all staff members are offline it looks strange haha.

Stalkerrrr ;)
Atleast try and make it say all online as a last resort lol! Or remove the online / offline feature if it is not fixable.

It's been like this for a long time, would be good to see it fixed if someone knows how. Maybe Matt or Tom could take a look.

@Chippiewill (http://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=40007);
thankyou xD I just find it weird considering its like the first thing/impression people get when viewing the main site. Fair enough if it was just a page error on another page, but this is main homepage, surely these things should be looking good haha.

If you really want it then we can make you use the vBulletin 4 default skin as it works on there due to not having the collapsible groups.

Would it not fix itself if it was moved back to its old position/where/how it was before? Then the poll widget returned? Surely anything is better than having something which looks broken and awful on the main homepage? It gives the impression that we cba to make our site look good :P

Technically yes but we made a decision that it would be best to discontinue the poll widget until further notice. This is due to it's requirement that you need have an account and logged in to be able to enter. Due to the registration problem and that we can't get rid of something in V6 for it to start working again we thought it would be best not to bother with it. While it would still work for anyone who has an account - It would be better for everyone if it worked for current and new users but that isn't possible at this stage.

Actually since Kieran managed to fix V6 registrations we could do this I guess.

Even though a large proportion of users already have an account so could still enter it? (if it was a poll rather than a question of the week). I just think that the forum one looks bloody awful at the moment LOL, but thats probably me just being picky. Its a shame about the registration problems :( must have the same impact of people not being able to comment on news articles and stuff too :P

Oh well he managed to fix the motto fetcher which was the bit which was problematic, didn't realise the captcha was an issue.

I noticed david was briefly an admin again recently, couldnt you have asked him to look at the registration issue? :O
---------- Post added 12-11-2012 at 07:56 PM ----------
I say bring back the poll widget (for now) anyway, since at least our current userbase can enter ;)) put the forum one back where it works and be error free LOL

He doesn't have time. We have asked him about that and other issues with V6 but unfortunately he doesn't have the time to give us solutions to our issues.

ah fair enough :P The sooner V7 arrives the better I guess then haha. Sucks that people can't register to comment on news etc, that the interactive features are limited due to the whole issue :( I hope when V7 arrives that should any issues come up in the long term future, they are able to be fixed by anyone rather than being dependand on one person which is what this sounds like, although I guess it was due to it being a complex system or something?
I think the main issue right now (love how we are talking about this in the wrong thread LOL), is just getting the front page that we DO have currently, looking smart and getting rid of that ugly overlap LOL. It is little, but it is driving me crazy, im that sad :( A poll widget (not question of the week), could at least allow current members of the site to submit their opinions on things etc interactively through the site, and the forum one should fix itself if returned to its old home maybe? xD

Oh I didn't realise this was the wrong thread. V7 is being worked on by more than one person so fixing stuff should hopefully not be as big of an issue than it is with V6.

Thats good :P Just need to make sure that if anything was to break after the current site coders resign/leave/die or w.e, that it would be easy to maintain etc. I always thought the motto thing was a bit dodgy (clever but dodgy), since Habbo could have removed/changed the motto thing at any time and surely that would have caused complications? Sometimes keeping things simple is best I guess LOL.
Thanks Kieran if you manage to fix it!! :D The forum widget is killing me LOL I should probs kill maself or somat for being so picky :(

We like it so you can sign up with your Habbo account and not pretend to be someone else. It also means some of the features will also work based of your Habbo name. They have removed it in the past but it works in V7 where as it doesn't with V6.

Chippiewill; shoved the CSS in a random PHP file. I attempted to find it before but gave up. He'll have to edit whatever he stuck in :P

omg dont talk to me about CSS and PHP like I know what they mean LOL, all I got from that was that he shoved something in something random LOL
How easy would it be to just put the poll one back in its position, and return the forum widget to a customisable widget on the side where it was before?

Wasn't the weather lovely today.. (Just presuming we can talk about anything here in this general discussion thread now? ;) )
What does that have to do with bugs at all? Sometimes discussions do get intertangled if you are talking about them with the same people. :P No harm was done and we were having a great conversation about said bugs. Chris has said its okay to talk about it here too!! but that doesnt mean we can talk about the weather since that isnt even anything to do with this subforum! :P
