Effects stay on when changing rooms?

Not sure if this is posted, but I stalked Graham and found my effect stayed on if I changed rooms. At long last :D.

Finally... I always put on an effect and use it for around 10 minutes, change the room and it's gone so I forget I ever had it on and it's kinda wasted.

About time this happened because i would use an effect in one room then change and wouldn't bother putting the effect back on.
