Halloween costume for work +rep

Right this is really annoying me. I work ib a club and i need a decent halloween costume idea howeer i want to stay away from the classic ghost, zombie, vampire etc. i want somethiń off the alist but something which i could make, although i honestly have no real idea :( i want something original at the same time aswell.

what about a freddy krueger costume? would be simple if you had a mask or some sort of face paint. other than that the only other idea i have is something like michael jackson or the joker. they're quite different and depending on what you have, could be easy to make, haha.
