Upgrade Advice?

Currently have a Iphone 4s and due for upgrade on 22nd of novemeber and wondering what to get next?

Any suggestions about whats the best out there, i was thinking iphone 5 but the reviews are rubbish...

You could always stick with the 4s and get a discount on the package, Or get another 4s and sell it.

If you want to jump into Android, I'd look into either the HTC One X, Samsung Galaxy S3 or the LG Nexus that Google are announcing on Monday. The LG Nexus will give you 'proper' stock Android, but HTC and Samsung have their own UIs built over the top of the Android OS.
