I don't think trialist DJs (or DJs for that matter) have ever had perms to post in CNB. Not that often they come accross the need to use it really, since seniors/heads/management can post the thread the odd time there is need for it and it has been approved as an official habbox thing etc. Events ofc are different.

It seems the person that did this set of permissions was drunk :P

Yes but it's quite useful for DJ's who do special shows. Like me and Imo are! Heads could do it but you know.

can't say I've seen events staff posting in habbox announcements :O If there has been then I think there are a lot of permissions which need to be reviewed haha

Edit: Just tested, and yes I am able to post in habbox announcements too haha, which previously has been just a manager (and in some cases senior staff) thing :O

That's a fair point, however Inseriousity.; would need to decide whether to make this the official thing and let all habboxlive staff have permissions to post there, and guidelines would need to be set up so that DJs don't post random crap in there or make up special shows/events on the spot etc, since they would need to be approved I'm guessing.

Well I have rights to post in there... so does every other DJ and nothing has really been posted in any of them besides by DJ Doyle who joined today!

I believe Chris; is sorting it :)

This does need to be looked at though, and a decision needs to be made about DJs having access to post in the CNB, and permissions for Habbox Announcements need to be looked at since it seems heaps of staff that shouldnt be able to post threads in there can! :P

Probably because people have not realised :P If it is going to be the case then it needs to be known to DJs so that they can post threads about important shows and stuff, since I don't often see DJs utilising that feature even if it does exist.

Yeah things like that should always be posted in there anyway, big shows etc. Just not every show or announcements will get bumped over too quickly, especially on a day like today where there is a habbox event practically every hour! :P In the past its always been a senior member of the hxl team posting them from what I've seen, but I guess allowing DJs to do it themselves does make sense providing they know to only post it if the show has been approved and is worthy of such advertising etc and not just a smallish thing during the show. I'm sure Mike will make a decision about that though :)

Seems the habboxlive and events usergroups are allowed to post in the announcements section for some reason. Matt will have to answer this one as I have no idea why it's like this. :P

I don't see it being a problem if only regular staff can post announcements. It is actually quite handy for when I want to post an announcement for a special show or a weekly perm show. I believe the permissions were changed for the summer spectacular and weren't changed back since. I say restrict trialists as they're only new, leave regular staff with the permissions but only allow them to post in the cmb if they have permission, if they do so without permission, send them a warning.

agreed with this, although I'm not sure why HxSS permission changes would have allowed those staff to post in 'Habbox Announcements', CNB fair enough but permissions should never have been set to Habbox announcements surely. Think the thing about trialists is a good idea too, so long as its clarified in the hxl staff forum so that people are aware that these big shows must have been granted permission/are official, then it makes sense for them to be able to post in cnb for it. Just definitely not Habbox announcements though, thats my main beef with this :P

Don't think DJ's should post perm shows & / or stuff in Annoucement, isnt that what the community board is for

Yeah i think he means cnb when he says announcements? But if you are allowed to post in cnb you can automatically posted in announcements? i think thats how it works cause i could in events when i was on trial.
