Friend got banned, name-changed, but no unban?

Hey, my friend got banned about two weeks ago for inappropriate username (JoshuaCrowe)? and so he requested to be unbanned and received a email back. The email asked him what username would he like instead - there he chose a new username and the customer support changed it. He has had his name changed for a week now, yet he hasn't been unbanned. Strange or what?

Somebody's probably forgotten that his request hasn't been finished and put him in the "sorted" pile. If he hasn't already, he should probably contact them again telling them exactly what has already happened!

Looks like they changed but frogot to unban the account. Probably will need to create a follow up ticket haha

Bit annoying but there's nothing he can really do other than create a support ticket and hope for the best :/ probably just forgot to change account status to unbanned, unless he did get a month's ban or whatever for something else and has to get through that first?

i've seen loads get changed to namechange### (# = random numbers) and they still refuse to unban them

one possibly reason why they won't unban that account is because a lot of people have been creating names with their real life name and sending in bully reports to help tool asking for name changes to get rare ones with characters in them cause people have been "harassing" them cause of their real name lol, so maybe they're just trying to stop people from doing that now by not allowing any name changes

He got his request picked up today, new account crowezine
