Why don't you have them? Seems all a bit dull and boring round here.

Would make some new discussions amongst people of the same sex.

This was brought up a year or so ago. There isn't really a reason to exist. If the forum is boring now what will change? Segregation isn't a good idea and if boys and girls can post in each others forums, then why not merge them together and make a unisex forum as it is now?

think it was suggested before but doubt habbox would ever get them. i know nearly all other forums have them but meh.. all i ever see asked in them is "omg who do you think is fit on the forum" and "do you shave your pubic hair"

if you want gender forums try habbohub :¬:

i like to know who shaves their pubic hair though

Because there are some people who aren't sure which one they are yet. Naturally I wouldn't name these people but xxMATTGxx; knows we'll give him our full support no matter what (s)he chooses :)

lolol because they're generally pointless and I don't really know of any discussions that'd require splitting the genders up. men can have opinions on female matters and vice versa.

I suppose men could talk about pee pee problems and women can talk about noo noo problems, but generally when people need this advice they PM people they know. I can't imagine new members asking specifically why their pee pee is inflamed around their edges.

but some people don't feel comfortable talking about things in front of the opposite gender, for example if a girl was having period problems or a boy was having problems with his penis, i doubt they'd want the whole community to know, they might just want people who can relate and help to know

Inseriousity.

If you dont feel comfortable posting it to everyone then I doubt it'd be a discussion that'd be appropriate for the forum in the first place.

Then don't post it in public lol. Even if they were to be introduced there would be no way to prove what gender you are because you can easily lie!

What do you mean by appropriate for the forum? This is a Habbo forum not a preschool? You have forums for people to discuss their lives and education so why shouldn't they only be able to discuss issues and topics that relate to their relevant sex.

Chris; clearly if you don't know the sex of your own forum members, then why are you forum manager?

Richie; is the man, he knows no boundaries he'll post whatever, wherever Jamie.

I don't think gender forums would work, it's the same with age forums, it's easy to lie about your gender and age for that matter. I know on some forums you need to ask for a certain forum and I don't think that level of privacy in threads in various forums are needed; it's what PMs are for. People might not even post in them due to no post count and frankly it would make it even more boring without threads from the likes of Richie and so on as they get some good replies which sometimes you might learn from and use too.

We already have too many forums as well so I see no point.

If you can lie about your gender you can fake a picture.

Because I don't go around asking every member what gender they are.

Also you have a criteria.
Set number of posts, be somewhat known by senior staff etc.

In all fairness who are you to judge who is or who isn't a manager? You've made a few posts, a pointless thread (not this one) and you think that they will become less boring with these forums? No they won't as I explained in a reply. I could easily change my name to Frank12345 on the forum and call myself male, no one would be any wiser if I was a new user. It's like you, hardly anyone would know your gender until you had more posts and posted more (but due to the way you right etc. people would have a hunch) so you could have pretended to be the opposite sex.

I though you'd never ask x. I'll ask what dress to buy in these gender forums that won't be happening :(.

I tried the gender forums on TryHabbo, don't get me wrong they were ok as they were moderated and such but I don't think it would work on here :P.

I don't believe gender is required on the sign up so that wouldn't work at all because it could be clearly changed if it was forced upon users to set it before entering the forums. Gender forums are clearly pointless and you can post anything you want to post in them in other forums within limits. Or take them to actual advice forums where they probably help a lot better than a forum based around Habbo.

Like I said people can lie about their gender... Also restricting people with a criteria would make these gender forums even more useless.

HabboHub is basically the baby of TryHabbo though (I do have an account).

Because the only reason to have split gender forums that I can see is to talk about issues of a sexual nature that have no place on a Habbo forum and maybe it's just me but if I had any issues downstairs the last place I'd think to ask would be on a forum regardless of whether it was same sex or to everyone. Any other topics that may be for girls-only/boys-only are likely not to be so embarrassing that they couldn't be posted in public for everyone to contribute. "what boy do you find fit" example that comity gave for example would be fine in public seen as it's a running joke that the majority of active members are gay.

Also, bit unfair to expect Chris to know the gender of every member. You've only joined recently with no welcome thread to indicate what gender you are and even then you could easily lie. It's not exactly hard to lie and while you may not be sad enough to do that, this is the internet so there's bound to be a few who will.

Do I edit your grammar? No ok.

A lot of our members may suck on such vegetable but we do have a sexuality thread for that.

Check a lot of the forums (which I know you haven't as you are new) there's only a few Habbo based forums on here; there's so much more conversation than just Habbo.
