i know what even happened to katherine tho lol she just always randomly disappears?? and yeah i can totally see rebekah becoming a 'good guy' later in the season and maybe even some more moments with matt?? Tho i dont think she really deserves him cause hes so amazin and sweet but ya. I feel bad for matt he needs a new gf or sumthing but idk if i want it to be rebekah or not. And same I have no idea whats happening with the thing with her dad aswell. What are the dead people coming back as? Stefan just lost his first true love! -cries- I would be there for him. Omg so awkward this next season 'cause Elena chose Damon and now Nina broke up with Ian irl! LOL and they are broken up but doing all those love scenes for season 5! AWK!

What they explain in the last episode is something that doesn't really make sense, or it was just me who didn't understand. But if Stefan dies, Silas dies too? I got really confused about that part. Also Silas doesn't want to live forever, remember? He wants to die as a human and find his love, Qetsiyah.

Katherine will probably fail as a human, in my opinion. She won't be able to keep running away from Klaus like she needs to, and I don't see how Elijah would want her back now that she isn't a vampire anymore. I would love if Alaric came back. I was like almost crying with all his scenes, mainly the ones with Damon. I loved the episode before the finale where Alaric went: ''Weren't you going to take care of the kid?''. -cries a river

Stefan lost his first love ages ago it's just that he only just learned to let it go, his own fault :P

Stefan and Silas aren't linked in fate like witches can be when they tap into someone, it's just that there needed to be a Salvatore doppelganger as a mortal counterbalance to Silas' immortality, same as how the Petrova doppelgangers exist as a counterbalance (in the form of a possible cure) to the hybrid curse

That leads nicely into Katherine's possible fate; obviously no-one likes her and she's now a weak little human, so one assumes she is now the true Petrova doppelganger since Elena's status as such was revoked when she become a vampire (just like how Katherine got away from it the first time), so Klaus could probably kidnap her and create the hybrid army he wanted, maybe to help him totally take over New Orleans again

Team Stefannnnn. I don't think I would have survived the end of s4 hiatus! My poor baby stuck in that quarry ahhh and he never turned his humanity off. *sobs* My fave season was 3. Don't really care for Delena that much and I basically hated Elena the whole way through s4! I hated her under the sire bond and with her emotions turned off. Loving season 5 though.

The 3x01 stelena phone call with ron pope one drop in the ocean playing is the most perfect scene ever!! I love that Julie herself cried when they were creating that scene. She is amazinggg

Yes because the entirety of the episode was looking for the bear :S It was a great episode, bonnie's suicide attempt was emotional and Kai gaining empthy was a great twist. Love his character!! Caroline looking for mrs cuddles was a great scene with stefan teasing her. So much feels from that scene for me so nothing yawn about it. Only wish liv had died in this ep and enzo is a bit annoying too. They are wasting his character but I guess he will fall in love with Sarah and his storyline might start getting interesting again. I am so excited for Bonnie to go off to silas grave.

klaus is a monster! and they've hinted at potential romance between steroline ever since one of the many times lexi came back and was all 'i've been replaced by a blonde, she's cute' and stefan was all shy and cute and it was adorable. their development into a relationship would have been amazing especially since he helped her a lot during her transition into a vampire and gaining control and stuff, when i rewatched i noticed steroline things a LOT more and it was so good to see because i could feel the chemistry from then onwards, him and caroline deserve each other. she's too much of a nice girl to ever settle with someone like klaus who doesn't show any signs of changing for the woman he loves, doubt it will happen with the new spin off now anyway!!

and as for bamon if he redeemed himself a long time ago and bonnie helped him i would romantically ship bamon 100% but i prefer it as a friendship. i don't mind as long as elena is left alone somewhere hehe i hate elena can you tell #bringbackkatherine

I've just spent the most beautiful weekend on Lake Lanier in Georgia with my own TVD Family, the cast and crew of The Vampire Diaries. I want to be the first to tell you that it wasn't just a holiday celebration, it was a goodbye party. I always knew I wanted Elena's story to be a six season adventure, and within those six years I got the journey of a lifetime. I was a human, a vampire, a doppelganger, a crazy immortal, a doppelganger pretending to be human, a human pretending to be a doppelganger. I got kidnapped, killed, resurrected, tortured, cursed, body-snatched, was dead and undead, and there's still so much more to come before the season finale in May. Elena fell in love not once, but twice, with two epic soulmates, and I myself made some of the best friends I'll ever know and built an extended family I will love forever.

Nina Dobrev is leaving after season six, she confirmed it via her Instagram. It had been rumored throughout today because of the said party in Georgia and many people had speculated it was in fact a leaving party for her; curious to see if the show can work without her, hopefully it can because I don't really care for Elena. I doubt it's the last we'll see of her, the show could and would never end without her but I'm glad Nina has the balls to move on from this show to further her career as it's going downhill anyway.

Plec also revealed that Michael Trevino, who has played Tyler Lockwood since Season 1, will not be returning to the show on a regular basis. "Even though he's also going to be out in the world exploring new opportunities, we look forward to finding creative ways to make sure he and his character Tyler Lockwood always remain a part of the show."

Rumors Dobrev was leaving the show began to surface this weekend when several members of the cast and crew posted pictures from a lakeside retreat on Instagram with the hashtag #NinaWeWillMissYou.

It remains to be seen if her exit involves Elena being killed off the show, but Dobrev told BuzzFeed News in May that she believes characters need to die for The Vampire Diaries to remain relevant. "In the beginning, the shock value of killing Vicki [Kayla Ewell] in the first few episodes made us stand out," Dobrev said. "As soon as you start bringing people back, you kinda lose that. I mean, it's great for me, personally, because I get to hang out with my friends, but from a story standpoint, now you don't care or believe when someone dies because you've seen how easily they can come back. The witches can always fix it, somehow. It's been six years, so I think it would be good to go down the list and cross them off."

I read a horrible spoiler saying Stefan dies and goes to hell. :( the fact he has that scar probably means he was brought back using the resurrection stone? It was posted in October song with other spoilers about Bonnie and enzo, Caroline's pregnancy, Valerie losing Stefans baby and they have al come aghhhhh! No no no no no I can't cope with that. anyone but Stefan!!!!

I HONESTLY LOVE MARY LOUISE AND NORA TOGETHER. for gods sake why give them pure happiness and then take it away from them (and me) :'( :'( really enjoyed the stefan/lily scenes in this ep because well, lily clearly approves of his love for caroline by giving him advice ;)

r.i.p lily!!! was quite sad actually, didn't want her to die but omg at the 3 year thing being misleading. WHO IS THAT GIRL? my bets are on sarah salvatore.
