View Full Version : Operation Christmas Child Shoebox
Anyone doing one this year?
I think you should all do one!
Grab an empty shoebox or ask at a sports store, buy some xmas wrapping paper if you haven't already got some and then buy some basic stuff :)
Look at their site here http://www.operationchristmaschild.org.uk/ for the information, what to pack and what not.
It can cost you less than a fiver and you make a child so happy!
I've just completed mine!

Ooh I know this, my friend is really involved in it with her church. She and I have been trying to get our student council to help out and make it a thing at my school for a few years now, but there's never enough interest.

It's such a lovely thing to do I remember my primary used to do it every year, I'd go home every year saying I'd do it and then things happened or something and I've only ever managed to do one. Don't think they do it here though have to have a look around

We use to do that on primary/secondary school and I would go mad putting all of these little knick knacks in there for the children who we sent them too. Like colouring pencils and colouring books and what not. Use to buy sweets to put in there but would always eat them myself lol :P
Heh I did a few now and they're dropped off and ready to be sent :)
