View Full Version : No Microsoft Products on Kapersky's top 10 Vulnerabilities List

Microsoft products no longer feature among the Top 10 products with vulnerabilities. This is because the automatic updates mechanism has now been well developed in recent versions of Windows OS.

The rankings are based on the percentage of users whose computers had the vulnerability in question. In other words, unpatched and old software, or just poor software in the first place.

This is actually a pretty big achievement, when you consider that it's based on percentages and windows is the most popular operating system they must be doing something right.

That's pretty good going to be honest. Kudos to Microsoft!

I suppose the only argument that can be used about Windows invulnerabilities is that most of those Adobe Products feature heavily on Windows machines (e.g. Flash Player). But from a strictly developer view point, Microsoft having zero programmes on that list must show something is going right.
