View Full Version : Think I'm finally done with Habbo

Not sure on why I keep going on from time to time...

Habbo has gone through a lot of changes since I started, the golden era has passed. Now due to my age, I find Habbo unbearable.. even in the 18+ rooms, half of them quite clearly aren't 18+ and the ones that are just aren't anything like me. I always thought I was a strange character to be playing online games for so long. I think this is a long time overdue.

It just isn't the same. The only reason I kept in touch with Habbo was because of the Habbox family I feel a part of. I've never signed up anywhere else.. best community on the internet. I'm not even a member of any other forum (non-habbo related).

So thanks to Habbox for keeping me here and making this whole experience enjoyable but hopefully I won't be on Habbo again for quite some time. I know most won't read this or care, but thanks if you took the time to read it because I do feel somewhat sad inside :/

i think the only thing that keeps me on habbo is chatting to people i get along with on there, or the games. most people on there i find unbearable and annoy me quite a bit, especially considering a lot of kids on there that are 12-16 that think they're hilarious. i don't think anybody over 18 will get that much enjoyment out of the game, as when you're younger you don't seem to care as much.

I think the only reason I play Habbo still is to see if it can get any possibly worse, and with that as the only thing to look forward to, I am never disappointed.

Kind of feels like a lot of wasted time to be honest. All the people I used to spend hours talking to, they've left and have got on with their lives. I never kept in touch over Facebook or anything either unfortunately. Not that I made that many good friends anyway on Habbo.

At least I'll still be able to keep in contact with people on here and those who have added me on facebook now

Zak; Sad to see you go D: I didn't get to know you that well, but you seems really nice as I'm sure you are. xD
Hope you the best for the future if you finally decide to quit Habbo AND HAbbox, although you should keep visiting the forums as everyone here is so cool. ;D

I don't enjoy Habbo anymore either, haven't in quite a while now. Love the community here at Habbox though so I'll probably stay active for a long while!

you're not alone, really. the real habbo is long gone, most of the players on this forum are probs staying there just because of habbox.

Yep the maze stays for eternity. It will always be there come rain or shine. :P

Yeh I never really thought of it that way but a lot of people on Habbox go on Habbo just for Habbox.

I stopped playing on habbo ageees ago. Don't see the point in it anymore.

Completely agree with everyone else - times have changed, habbo's got terrible and people are getting more annoying.

It's sad to see you go. Hope life treats you well. :)

Totally agree with you, it's extremely boring! I only come on to speak to people however less and less people want to speak to you nowadays because you're no longer a regular lol

everyone has to leave habbo eventually I guess.

I do really miss the habbo of before flash and the merge.
I miss running my old school mocha theft (the one where there was one roller and you used the roller glitch to trap people) :( :(
Meh, I was so disappointed when habbo updated to flash, so disappointed. Habbo was never the same for me, ah well!

Peace dude. I don't think I'll ever really stop visiting habbo - at least not yet. I always end up having some free time on my hands. Plus it's harder to quit when you have lots of furni.. :P

But I agree it's not much fun anymore. Good friends are hard to come by nowadays. Just a bunch of 13 year olds.

I think I'll visit form time to time for the same reason as you but the actual "playing" will stop. I haven't got much furniture left anyway.

i can totally relate to what you mean. it's sort of silly to think you can have this sort of "emotional" attachment to a social game like habbo, but it happens. during the golden ages of habbo, things were great. thinking back when i had so much fun on habbo and to think how much the game has changed now is a bit saddening. most games never stay in their golden ages since the audience is always changing and they have to appeal to the changes. in reality you will get over this and move on and just be happy it happened :D
