From time to time Habbox will have downtime due to various issues or even have maintenance. A lot of the time this does mean our users are unable to access any of the websites and don't really know what is going on. We often use twitter and facebook to inform people what is going on and continue to update them throughout the downtime/maintenance.
But after yesterday's downtime we have decided to take this one step further and by doing so we have opened a new Habbox website known as HabboxStatus. This site is dedicated to telling people the status of the Habbox websites and also provide information when any of our sites are down or having maintenance work. The site is also not on the same server as Habbox and that does mean there is a high chance that when our normal sites are down, the HabboxStatus site will be up and running.
You can check it out right now by going to: www.habboxstatus.com (http://www.habboxstatus.com) - It would be a good idea to remember this and even bookmark it if you want. We do hope this website comes in hand from now on.
Who is Bertie and why does he work at Habbox?
Bertie is our Lego head technician who works at Habbox. He is the person we will blame if anything goes wrong with any of the Habbox websites. You may have seen him on the Habbox twitter account! He lives in the Habbox offices (aka xxMATTGxx's bedroom) and loves eating KitKats and Jaffa cakes. Want to see a picture of him I hear you scream? Coming right up...
